I love the way he plays. No distracting theatrics. All emotion is expressed through the violin and comes out sounding beautifully.

Five stars ! Absolutely beautiful. The Mozart composition is of course devine - his best violin concerto, but this performance - in all it's simplicity, without the orchesta, is too !

I think this was exactly what Mozart had in mind when he composed this piece. Demirev plays it with feeling and a very beautyfull tone. His vibrato is exelent. No show of... only pure music. Breathtaking. Bravo.

A warm, broad sound and a discreet accompaniment. Just wonderful!

The phrasing and tempo in this performance is just perfect. I have used a part of it for one of my videos on "Mozart's Greatest Hits"

Beautiful! The piano backing sounds so good with the violin. I recorded this some years ago, including the cough at the beginning, and have often played it. Recently tried to check on Shazam who was playing and what the piece was. It did not recognise this version. Glad I found it again

Wonderfully done! I love the cadenza and the finale! Vessko, bravo! (Vessselin Demirev works as a concertmaster at Plano, he is originally from Varna, Bulgaria. I am so proud to know him since he was 4 - we were in the same violin class - his first violin teacher was Mrs. Anna Kovatcheva in Varna Music School.)

Maestro Demirev belongs to new generation of musicians who find the path to the core and essence, after many many years, 70 or so, in which so many musicians, some of them much hailed, lost it. Sheer pleasure!

@Jan2ek it is a Violin Concerto. The piano is supposed to simulate the orchestra, which is why it is called piano accompaniment. The orchestra, and thus the piano, follows the soloist, not the other way around.

@musicluvr416 what you said applies to begginers my friend not for violists of such calibre. they decide how the bow is to be placed. bow placement is wrong if the sound produced is faulty

@dereczynski I think its Will Ferrell, if im not mistaken.

Piano should always follow violin
@mariadelloreficemusic13 жыл бұрын
my only criticism is that ur bow is not very straight. the frog tends to stay towards you and the tip points away from you. other than that, it's perfect!

Maria Dell'Orefice who cares because the tone is delicious slow playing gives away the competence of a violinist and this man is an artist!
@masael25515 жыл бұрын
Shouldn't the pianist be following the violin here? It is a violin concerto.
