My grandfather Violinist,Louia Vaughn Jones performed this piece on April 7, 1949 in Baltimore, MD.

The ease with which she plays this piece is astounding, whereas I find it extremely competitive and challenging, especially since I need to audition for a music performance program at a 4-year school. My challenges are relaxed arms and bow control, and my teacher often points out that she can't feel it for me. I wish I could find a better way to develop these skills to enhance my speed and tone, particularly in higher positions on the lower strings.
