Whew! It's been a battle to get back here. I'll spare the many many details, but sufficed to say the last of the musical delays will be resulting in me moving to the west coast, but after that, I fully intend on catching up on the request list! Meanwhile... this piece was something else. It sounded so simple at first until I realized all of the conflicting timing going on that some how made the piece work despite its chaos. The good thing about that is, I could make more alterations with less people probably noticing. :P The fact the song is relatively short and used twice in the game, I decided to give a more arranged style of remix for the intro version before I kicked in the "Boss Battle" mode of the same song, dipping both in a light sauce of some other familiar bits. All up until the action on screen demands the changes that the final showdown was known for, including the little ominous pipe organ death scene... with a twist of the ending theme tossed in just to give the song some closure.
I've been promising people I'll be less harsh about my criticisms for my own work, so I'll leave those alone. Though I do apologize if some of the sound the last few videos have been changing drastically. Some of the newer mastering tools just haven't been doing so hot, so I toyed with a more conservatively classic one and it seems to help, but I still have to get used to how it, Vegas, and KZbin all messes with the finished product. I intend of getting those bugs worked out by the next upload and hooopefully won't damage any quality to this one.

Always has such an impact on me when the end of the game features the theme from the beginning. Really gives you a sense of "this is what this has all been building up to".
