I think this is the first rendition of Bloody Tears I've heard (I might not be well-versed on all of them) that really captures the way Simon's Quest sounds. The violin serves as a great substitute for the original chiptune of the melody, and the guitar compliments it so well. All in all, with the mixing done it manages to have a much fuller, better sound than most of the offical renditions, I'd say.

This is honestly one of my favorite covers of this song. The way the violin, the guitar, and the piano all meld and melt together is just...perfection. Every time I listen to this, I imagine Shanoa (the main character from Order of Ecclesia) coming across a town besieged by demons in her travels. The slow beginning piano part is when she first walks into the village, obscured in a thick traveling robe. Then, at about 0:35, when the familiar melody begins to play, she walks slowly towards a group of imps tearing a corpse to shreds. One of them notices her and starts running to feed...only to get skewered as a magic blade appears in her hands, coinciding with the point when the guitar and the violin start to kick in. Then the imps notice her properly, and rush her. She sheds her cloak as the drum picks up, and the battle is on! She summons weapons out of thin air using magic as she slashes and carves through the legions of Hell, the mood of the fight matching the intensity of the music. When the guitar solo hits at the 1:30 mark, a massive werewolf makes its appearance, crashing into her and sending her sliding across the ground. Then they begin battling and chasing each other through the streets, as Shanoa keeps slicing through smaller demons that keep getting in the way of her fight. It's a beautiful display as she embodies the morning sun, vanquishing this horrible night. But then at 2:15, oh no! She gets blindsided by the werewolf, and she goes flying into the church! The werewolf moves in to finish off its wounded prey...only for the beast to be blasted back out by a gout of flame. As the violin intensifies, Shanoa emerges with fire flaring in her hands, the werewolf snarles at her, and the fight resumes! This time, during the final refrain, Shanoa conjures weapons of flame to better wound the beast, imbibing her swords and axes and spears with holy fire. It culminates in a blazing tornado lifting the lupine foe off the ground, which she then leaps into and finishes off with an amazing midair combo! As the final notes play, Shanoa and the werewolf return to the ground, a burning spear through the beast's chest as she rises, watching the morning sun arise over the horizon. God, this song is amazing.
