Albanian poet and nobel prize winner Ismail Kadare, said that Unikkatil is a POET.. and for a foreigner like yourself is very hard to understand even if you have subtitles.. he rarely uses SLANGS in his songs, he uses simple words and sometimes OLD albanian words, but always meaningful.. you can create a QUOTE in every line he says.. + in his long career Unikkatil has only 2 features with "mainstream" artists (Mozzik, and 2po2) and still to be THIS huge like he is.. its insane

Just a small correction :) Ismail Kadare has won Princess of Asturias in Literature, not a Nobel prize. However he has been several times a serious candidate to win this award

I am only half Albanian by blood but yes it makes me homesick as fuck. We are such a small nation that have been oppressed for centuries, as my mum says there's not an Albanian generation that has not survived one war, we have never oppressed anyone always fighting in self defense. Not one family can be found that doesn't have members in diaspora and this has hurt our people even though this also made our survival possible. As my grandmother says 5 children yet not once in her life has she had the pleasure to have all 5 sitting at the dinner table at the same time 😔

There are other great songs from him, like "U qova pi vorri" or "vetbesim" or "Qendro" - i hope u react to them aswell, else u would miss out big time. 🙌🔥
