Big up on the life steal advice. I found switching around with life steal options and weapons on my barbar opened up several more advanced MPs. That's not to say life steal = win. You have to understand how it functions with both your weapons and your damage-dealing skills. Great work, Shinobi-kun. I only started Diablo 3 with patch 1.0.8, your videos have really helped to get me to speed regarding knowledge and theory - as well as using the AH effectively :)

I tried this build on my hc monk on ps3 that hit 60 yesterday. The build works great if you can maintain a lot of mobs and high crit rate. Theres no ah so its harder. Or my bid id like the gold so i can make a monk for the pc version. I used my last bit of gold following your DH spec so im broke on the pc version. I play both because i love the game. I'm curious what you think of the shenlong's set? I wasn't a fan but the set bonus boosts dext, and I was able to get both pretty cheap and the critical damage increase and socket weren't bad. You obviously miss out on the bonus damage to lightning attacks. Just curious on your thoughts. Thanks for the videos and stream!

your knowledge about this game is really deep, but, when I read "mp10 monk", I would like to watch you fight some elites'groups. I built my monk and I feel comfortable in soloing up to mp7, if I try higher, I really can have hard time. In your opinion, what's a nice health pool for a mp7+ monk (taking in consideration a 2xlife stealing weapons, 100+k dps AND over all 550 resistance)?

Great video shinobi. Kind of came back to diablo3 using your videos. I have terrible luck. Which is why I quit again shortly after paragon came out. Die hard diablo fan. From the first its two expansions (1 legit, 1 third party). And through d2 now to d3. I would love to win your contest! I support your videos, I recommend your videos to my "noob" diablo friends. Recently got back to diablo 3 after quitting before the paragon patch, in order to try and prepare myself for the expansion. Got a monk to level 60 and all was fun and good. Soon, I decided to play around with monster power and jumped straight to MP10 to get my ass handed to me. So searched for some MP10 gearing guides and found yours. I only had 4M gold, and thought that if 10M could farm MP10, 4M could farm MP4. However, I was wrong and am now broke and can't pay repair costs. Help please!

I'd like to see an EU video too. Cheapest Nat ring on the AH, 7 mill with less than comparable stats to yours. 3mill for the chest etc. Be interesting to see what mp level you could reach for 10mill on the EU AH and how you'd build around the different prices.

Hey shinobi its me again, id like to run my build by you, I know most monks use wave of light but I find better use out of support skills. IE- Blinding flash, faith in the light(secondary) 1-serenity, ascension 2-breath of heaven, blazing wrath 3-sweeping wind, cyclone 4-mon. of conviction, overawe or mon. healing, time of need. what are ur thoughts? also I use guiding light, one w/ everything, seize the initiative.

12:00 why would you search for Echoing fury specifically? There are rares with that damage and about same speed too -.-" especially the "fear on hit" is more for ranged characters.

Keep in mind I did say I'm somewhat inexperienced with the monk class. I stand at roughly 140k dps unbuffed, 38k life, 640 resist, 4k armor, with a cookie-cutter bells build and a 5.9% LL Skorn. Honestly I think 38k life just isn't enough for a monk to do MP10, so I might try to get more. My main character is a wizard I usually play CM with, and I'll agree, I have a much easier time farming MP10 with it despite having spent no more than 20M on it.

Tnx for the reply, i am even more concerned about it now since i' ve never had over 10M , and you cant farm comfortably mp10 after spending 500M. it only took me 4,5M for my cm wizzard to farm mp7 and 3M with my barb, so i guess trying to gear up a monk for a higher mp would be a bad mistake for me considering my current economy.

I agree that, on its own, the monk is a bit lack-luster without some really high-end gear. I'm just spent 500M on mine and I'm not comfortable enough to enjoy MP10 farming. Even at MP8 I die if I'm not careful. That being said, I'm not very experienced with the monk and maybe some practice will make things easier.

I'm playing Diablo on xbox. Should try its sooo nice. I'm doing 1800K damage... thats pretty good. I can do Act 4 alone on Mp10 / master 5 (called on xbox).
