This is the MP10 TKI2 First Drive! In this video I go to a track called RC Farm in Crossville TN. SO there's 2 parts in this video. Footage from the go pro strapped to my head while driving the mp10 for the first time. The second part is me talking about my first experience with the buggy. Its a long vid fellas but I think its some decent insight on what to expect from a Kyosho MP10 TKI2.

Great vid ,I snubbed my nose at the way the fuel line ran too , that was the first thing I noticed when I started to install it on my MP9! Good stuff Brent..👍..😎

What another great video I’m far from the MP10. I think I should get some good laps on the MP9 LOL. STILL under repairs. It’s amazing how fun these cars can be and how much of a pain they can be LOL. Thanks for keeping us up to date. Peace be with you. And I’m loving that BLUE body what is that midnight blue?

I've been running my MP9 for a long time and still have them all they're just as competitive as anything. And a rock sold kit. And the new kit blues is what got me. So I had the new Nitro and the new buggy couldn't help it.

Yeah that's pretty much it the point where a lot of people end up getting discouraged with it and throw in the towel. Just stay at it , it can get so aggravating that it'll ruin your whole time if you let it. What's happening numerous times from crazy problems or little things that are overlooked is still happens from time to time nobody's perfect.

Awesome . The HB are good cars . I have a friend that runs HB . Yeah it’s a cool little track . It has higher grip than most other tracks local to me

I also you use the fuel filter, I always make sure to put silicone grease all around that o-ring before I close it up and then I take two no scratch pliers and wrench it together. And I also use fuel line clips on all my connections. They're kind of like spring clips, from what I've been told that things really not much of a filter it's more something to hold fuel when it's flipped over to keep feeding that engine until it gets turned back over. And that was straight from a pro's mouth, so I try to stick with it and I also run fuel line by exhaust . I've done that since all my MP9s and I've never had any problem. The main things to use a fuel line with a really thick wall and not the cheap stuff and namely just use Kyosho fuel line never have any problem. Good luck to you though buddy keep it up

thanks Blue Crab! you are right, I can see why some people throw the towel in at this point. but I don't give up so i will keep going! I love Nitro! I will figure out a solid way of doing things here soon hopefully. thats a good tip on wrenching down on the fuel filter. Thats good to know about the fuel line .... i guess i will let that fuel line get hot on the pipe lol

@@BuggyBrentRC check out my mick craddock videos on how he does his fuel routing an engine mounts. And on top of that I frequently message with him using Facebook Messenger, to do so but it's helped me out immensely on different things whenever I have a problem. He's the nicest guy in the world.

Good stuff, brother.. That was a mistake I also made when I started running name brand engines. Compared to the Traxxas and HPI RTR engines I started out with these engines are really sensitive when it comes to tuning..

@@BuggyBrentRC Im a little concerned about parts availability but I wanted a kyosho anyway. Where do you go for parts? Seems pretty limited the places ive looked.
@BuggyBrentRC

@@DetoursRC I buy most of my parts from www.amainhobbies.com If they don’t have the part in stock - they are pretty quick at getting the parts . Kyoshoamerica.com also has almost all the parts you need . Your basically buying directly from kyosho when buying from them . Basically if kyosho America doesn’t have it . Odds are no one has the part

7:36 sounds like your mid speed was too rich. The other thing I can think of is that the engine still has too much mechanical pinch so the engine would get stuck at top dead center. I’ve got 2 of those flashpoints and a little over a gallon on both. Once the mechanical pinch is gone on these engines, (it usually goes away around 3/4 of a gallon) they tune really easy, have really good fuel mileage, and have a very smooth, stable idle
@BuggyBrentRC
@BuggyBrentRC 2 жыл бұрын
That was exactly the issue . I was also rich low end and high end as well. It runs really good now . Your exactly right on the pinch as well
@chazgodwin5914
@chazgodwin5914 3 жыл бұрын
New engine always have the idle slightly higher than normal. Especially if running a bit rich. It has to push through the metal pinch when new. When run in you can have that slightly lower idle

@@BuggyBrentRC cool. Probably just needs more run time . Not broke in yet. New engines can be a pain in a$$. I have that same engine . Bought it for the same build for this winter. Lol. I had a Fp01 . Probably one of the smoothest most reliable engine s I've owned. Shouldn't of sold it .lol

@@Rcfreak57 awesome good to know . Unfortunately some of the local racers in my area told me these engines can be a pain. But I think your right . Once I get more run time on it maybe it won’t be so finicky.
