Thank you for posting this. My first vehicle was a 85 Power Wagon W250. It sat in a field for 15 yrs before I came across it. So many memories getting it running , and it breaking down. I picked one of these kits up , and even thought the grills are different, I'm still painting it in memory of my 85.

im am so glad these old MPC kits are coming back out, i was wondering about 10 years ago if some company would get these old molds and start re-issueing them again, i guess my whish came true i recently bought the 68 Coronet Convertable and im waiting to get the hardtop version, plus i want that new 1971 Demon kit. i found your channel about a month ago and love it, it is the best model channel on youtube, thanks ps keep them coming. oh ya im in Canada so it takes longer than you Americans to get these kits.

I love these trucks my dad had a orange 79 power wagon long bed with a 360 in it when I was a kid we used it to hall scrap metal and fire wood and go 4 wheeling It had no lift I’m in my 20s I haven’t spoke with my father in a long time we don’t really get along anymore but I think he still has that old truck good times

I used to build models when I was a kid in the 60s, they were t as complicated like they are now, wish they would go back to having metal Axel's for both ends like they used back them. You could Jack the car up, or lower it. Used to take a red ink pen an make redline tires if they didn't come with the kit. Had a lot of fun building those kits. You could buy 3or 4 kits for what one cost now.

Reminds me of an 87 Ram short bed a former neighbor of mine had. He shoehorned a 440 out of a late 70's Montico after going through it and freshing it up. We used to fry the rear tires on that thing. The neighbors loved us. Lol

Came out very, very nice! Back in the 80's, I was living in Champagne, Illinois.. and a friend of mine had a small landscaping business while we were going to school.. and he had a truck that looked just like that.. hood a different color.. mismatched wheels.. I remember Dodge trucks back then, they didn't paint the whole unit at once so the panels were slightly different shades. Folks complained about it. Dodge's basic engine would have been their slant six. Like Ford and GM sixes, they were all well designed and fondly remembered.

I built the 1984 4x4 long bed release of this era dodge. Mine was missing suspension and drivetrain so robbed an old lifted ramcharger kits lifted suspension and wheels and made my own 440 six pack from my spare parts. I stole the transfer case from an old parts bronco I had too. It’s just an old custom mud truck but definitely better than a stock build

In college I drove a 1974 Dodge pick-up. It had the 225ci slant six engine, 3 speed on the column

The motor is actually a big block 400-440 engine. MPC made a nice small block in the 75 Dart Sort kit that will drop in there and look great. I used it in the Little Red Truck kit to make it look semi correct. Thanks for the video and I'm looking forward to the release of this kit.

TV series of the 1970's.The 8 foot utility bed from Mobius/Model king will also look good on AMT's 1:25 scale 1978 Ford F150 Firestone pickup kit.
