I built this simple kit when it was released years ago. I also remember taking my shotgun to it, that's how disgusted I was with it. You did a great job. Keep up the good work!

Great build. Sometimes it’s all about what you do with the paint job when the kit itself doesn’t meet expectations. In that respect, you’ve got that covered with an exceptional paint job and convincing weathering.

Would be a good model for an AT-ST crash. Maybe give it some emotion and have one guy dragging his buddy out. The Empire were people too. Lol. Salt and hairspray?

Good video, bad kit. I’ve been watching Bandai AT-ST builds & this kit & it’s poor substitution for the details that Bandai painstakingly incorporates, is “painful.” In 2022 Bandai demonstrates the tremendous possibilities in this age. Releasing this model kit for someone to mistakenly purchase in hopes of getting the “good stuff” is almost shameful. Bandai is a snap-kit as well so if this is what anyone is looking for - get Bandai & let lack of customer purchase demonstrate the demand for better quality which is achievable. FYI - ive watched documentaries on Disney+, on the ILM studio modeling of the movie “at-at” - the modelers were calling it “at - at” not “aytee aytee” but do call this the “aytee ess-tee.” LoL. Again great videography & info & honest review. Thank you!
