MPC Beats Tutorial Bars Tracks

This video is a break down of how to navigate, opening tracks, and programs on MPC Beats software using the MPK Mini 3. I go over track organization, track building, and how to navigate your track program bar. I also discuss, bars and loops, and multiple ways to duplicate your loops and tracks.

I noticed you only had 2 tracks available and when you recorded the 2nd track, number 3 became available. I could have used this small piece of information days ago. 😂 I thought it only have me 2 tracks only and everyone was saying it has 8 tracks......ugh. I spent hours trying to figure this out.

Has anyone had a problem with MPC beats not letting you change the amount of bars when setting a new sequence? Eg:- I type in 4 and it keeps switching back to 1 or 2. Any help much appreciated

is there a way to have the metronome playing the whole time while recording?

Hey Robert! Yes. Up to the top of the screen. There is a small icon that is a triangle that allows you to turn the metronome on and off at will. I will try to send you a better explanation when I get a Chance. 😁👍

@@teamuncoordinated630 At will you say..? You know, you're right! After the first 4 and then nothing, you CAN simply click in on again to keep it on while recording. No better explanation needed. maybe throw it in another video since not everyone reads comments.

Yes! Exactly @robert-asdf, you got it. We are already working on a video for this. Just because you commented on it. Is it ok if I use your comment in our video? Simple things like this are what we want to make videos on. It may be very basic. But this is why we give simple tutorials. We are so glad that you got it figured out. Don't forget. Just because the metronome is on when you are listening to your playback, does not necessarily mean it will be on when you are recording. You can control them both manually or shift R as your short cut on your keyboard. We are working on dropping an update video on what we are going to be doing for 2024, after that we will drop a metronome video. It will be short.
