yeap me too, track mutes were part of my workflow - now it global muting, and my drive was not visible so had to downgrade until i can move my data to a different external drive

MPC3 has broken my workflow 😥 I used to do MIDI learn with my MIDI Fighter Twister and I could MIDI learn the knob presses to mute the MIDI notes and not the actual track audio (so reverb and delay etc still plays after mute has been pressed), now with Tracks and Plugins being merged, I press mute and the audio cuts off immediately. Unless I'm missing something, this has ruined how I use my MPC 😕

You're probably not missing anything... but I'm finding enough things have moved that it'll just take some patience and practice to update a lot of workflows...

Well track mutes are needed I’ll stay in 2.15 until they finish up the 3.0

Track mutes are there you need to hit the little white rectangle at the top right of the screen then it will record automations.

@@ZZEROO99 you need to understand my position. In a live setting I would like to have track mutes on my pads.

@@ZZEROO99 from what I heard they work on audio not on midi so if I want to turn of a synth it’s not possible

Track mutes are there you need to hit the little white rectangle at the top right of the screen then it will record automations... this has been there since 2.x. People really dont know how to use their MPCs 😆

Thanks man... the record automation has certainly been there since 2.x... but this is *not* how I ever recorded track mute automation for a track. So again thanks for the explanation... but I do feel like a *lot* of people are hitting this issue because the behavior has changed from 2.x

@@NearTao That little white square at the top has always been there for recording any automation of the MPC! not sure why people are not aware of its existence. I use it to automate cut offs and all kinds of parameters in real time while jamming out.
