This is genius. The MPC one has so many ways to do one thing can be confusing. I like this way a lot!

Great tutorial as always. I recently purchased the MPC Bible, in my opinion, it’s a must. In that book, together with your tutorials, you’ll get everything you need to make powerful beats with just a few elements. So, if I count in this set up there is just one hi hat (copied, tuned and tweaked wonderfully), one kick, one snare and one 808 copied and tuned. One more sample for the melody (and some similar workaround) and rapping, and you have it. Thanks again!

I've been wanting to get the bible,but it seems a bit expensive. Is it really that worth it?
@PabloDeModeOfficial3 жыл бұрын
@@PeteOnTheBeat it’s definitely a must! Worth every penny

Thanks Pablo! Yes I own the mpc Bible, but its been a long time since I have looked at it, its getting updated right? But thanks for the reminder;) Exactly, you don't need a lot of different sounds to make good music, just the right things in the right order. Sometimes limited sound choices can be great for creativity because you have to make it work somehow and tweak the sounds you have so they won't get boring over time..

@@Marrcello The MPC Bible gets updated indeed. I’m gonna follow this tutorial along and see how far I can come… I personally love the minimalistic approach to make music, so this is an excellent way to get there

Wow sick tips. Not sure what the warp and bpm sync did on the one sample. Couldn’t really hear the difference.

Thanks! It just sounded a little bit tighter (i think^^), it made the sample shorter,,

7:36 Speaking of xyfx can you maybe do a tutorial on how to use it? 🙏 I've been told it only works on a single track and that I have to export the whole song and bring it into the mpc to use xyfx on the whole track?
@boratezel3 жыл бұрын
Ya you would in song mode convert your song into a sequence, so it's one long sequence. Then you load xyfx and play with it during your long sequence playing, make sure automation write mode is on

is there a way to make the samples act like a single instrument? I'm trying to get a phonk beat going and think putting it on the keys would be faster but idk how 😬
