I'm still using the Akai MPC Renaissance with MPC 2.0 and MPC Beats to work on my Album.

Eventhough I have the X which replaced my Renaissance. I do miss it a lot! It was a beast and a tank. Also it felt like the old MPCs with all the new features. Like Restomod cars, Great machine. I sold it manly because it doesn't work with M1 Macs. Shame

I’m using Big Sur on Mac Pro 5.1 with Intel Xeons and the REN doesn’t run 🤔

I had to use my old PC to run the ren! I’m sick it doesn’t support the M1, even though the MPC software does smh

Thanks for uploading this! Can you explain how u did the setup ? I'm on windows and it can't find the hardware or midi, my midi keyboard doin well but the mpc ren won't show up

So I can confirm that you don’t have an M1 silicon, so you’re either using an older Apple computer or a PC base computer ,because my faithful Renaissance which I’ve had from day one it’s inception is now totally a book end. Serious with Akai behind this as long as the machine is functioning there should be no reason for me to have to go out by a new MC so just know that if you switch to silicon and you have a renaissance, it will be no good.
