What are the advantages and disadvantages between the two?

With link slices turned off + non destructive slice you get better chops with less abrupt endings that allow you to be flexible with your start points. Its very similar to the Fruity slicer in FL Studio and the play to end button.

Any idea if there is a way to start sampling only when hitting a pad (so with the treshold set to zero) but whitout having to use the screen? Screen doesnt work with the High Sierra OSX for now... Thanks

did they do this to stop crackles and pops? besides saving room?

So what's more ideal, non destructive new program then turn link slices off? Or non destructive pad parameters?

Great Video!!! And I watch a lot. Do you know how to control the mpc software transport with Maschine? I can play/stop the software transport from my mpc 5000 but record doesn't transmit to the computer. Thanks!!

Couldn't be covered any clearer. I remember first digging into this an being amazed that you get a whole non-destructive copy of the sample by default on each pad with Pad Parameters.

So non-destro is good for variations, and pad parameters is for performing slices?
@alyeska42265 жыл бұрын
A guess... pad parameters breaks up the ish, so that the Q-link is individual to the pad #, and non destro still maintains universal Q-link control?

Is it possible for you to make a video showing the correct way to use the Maschine sounds in the MPC Studio? Basically I want to do all my chopping and sequencing in the MPC studio, but use the Maschine and it's expansions as a sound box since their sounds are ridiculous. I want to know the correct way to set it up, save it so that it always opens the same way, and then track it out to a DAW with the sounds from the MPC and the Maschine.

I like this dude and I'm new to the mpc but stick to the title of the video it took him half of the video to give the definition of the dam title I mean really say and nondestrutive sample is this pad parameters is this then if you want to expand do so but don't explain what you want if its a tutorial just get straight to it but no slack from me he's good but just a little more direct would be better

everything come out the sounding the same with the mpc.. think its time to toss it.over complicated ,take the feel of the pads away and you got nothing.
