This was so hardcore of an information smash and it literally why I bought the MPC X for was designing drums via samples. Dood, you do work of the gods. Thanks so much for this vid! 👊🧡👍

Thanks a lot. I don’t use every feature but I do allow for necessity to determine the need to know. I just share the information to all. 🙏

@@park171 this one was a big one for me so can't thank you enough. It was the time saving simple short cuts and info on parameters that will make the difference in the grand scheme of things. Just when I thought I had it figured out, there was more. You rock brother 🤟

Very good tips for making the process less tedious, thanks! Didn't know the shift press to drop layers in the pad view. Copying the velocities also helps alot. I would still pay for someone to do this for me and i kinda settled on just using the autosampler eventho the drums will be all over the place in terms of pad placement :D (autosampler creates a keygroup, not a drum program so its not ideal in that sense either)

I’m in thee process of making Mpc the primary method and eventually moving away from 3rd part plug ins. Moving multi samples into the Mpc

I was trying earlier to set up 8 velocity layers per pad with the "simultaneous play" option. Didn't really work too well then but now with the new midi filters in 2.11 it might actually work.

Right velocity layers would allow for some real nice opportunities for sound design.

You should do alot of mpc x videos. You do a great way of showing people and you make it simple. If I was you I would watch other Mpc videos and just do it in your way. The great this is you have good sounding music 🎶 So people will listen. When tutorials videos have wack tracks, people tend not to listen 😒

Sean thanks. I’m moving colder to making the mpc my main productivity tool. I still use logic and studio one. But getting away from linear daws.

Hi Ben, I was hoping you could help me figure out a problem I have. Ive got my beat. I've got the track. I want to add more of the bass notes I got on the track but the position of the notes I had on the pads originally have now changed and I can't find the same notes I used. The configuration of the notes are all messed up. Any tips to fix this? Thanks!
