Season 22 was a complete mess. Warlocks tanking everything short of a thermonuclear warhead explosion, Mario Kart on Mars, and the weapons we truly deserve. One of the BEST seasons on record in terms of fun factor.

I was having some major burnout that season (which kinda sucked cause it was a great season tbh) but when I logged into discord after my morning class and saw what was happening I couldn’t believe it. Honestly expected it to be patched by the time I got home, but Bungie turned into the cool parents and gave us what was hands down the most fun weekend of all time in this game.

PvP player here, it was incredible fun too(let's hope it never happens again). Auto rifles were the strongest but grenade launchers, bows and hand canons were the most fun.

Turning the Ghosts of the Deep boss into pate with a glitched MG was cathartic after those moths ruined so many solo flawless runs. It turns out she has enough health that burning her down with a shotgun MG generates enough super energy from damage to launch 5 nova bombs in a single damage phase.

3 things 1) god tier editing is back 2) good to see you back man, cant wait to see you play season of the zzz 3) i will always miss the craftening, that was THE most fun ive EVER had in destiny, ever. it encouraged everyone to do raids, gms, crucible, it also encouraged me atleast to chase more weapons down to be crafted to see what horrendous combo i could make, either a gun that cant hurt a fly, or a weapon to surpass metal gear. i would do anything to get that shit back bruh :(

The Craftening was probably the most fun thing to ever happen in Destiny, rivaled MAYBE by having 12-person raids. Even laser tag weekend was a loser compared to this. The best part was it was PvE, too. So you could go anywhere in the game and meme. Which kind of also demonstrated how Bungie is crutching too hard on making stuff bullet sponges, because GMs were laughable.
