Agreed, Hermetics and esoteric knowledge if properly applied to daily life; becomes an antidote or medicinal tincture to the sympathetic and antipathetic attributes of the forces of reality. In other words a way out of confusion and disorder.

The Dark Crystal (1986) mysticism and other magical concepts are the foundation of the film but also - an ancient mythological alignment with 3 suns. the largest was Saturn or Jupiter (probably Saturn) with Mars and Venus as the 2 smaller red and purple suns - Norse mythology is the source and the imagery in the film matches a documentary about the story that should be here on youtube.

Mentation - Metanoia - Mutation: Since there is That which is, there is not that which is that is other than That which is, for if there was something other, it would still be That which is, that we merely call other. Therefore, That which is, is all-inclusive. Since That which is, is all-inclusive, whatever appears as separate and opposite, is in Reality the all-inclusive nature of the One without a second to 'Serve' as the Absolute, Infinite, Eternal Continuum of Being/Life, that functions as a diversified unity of potential (Creative Intelligence), actualizing as a unified diversity or Uni-verse and thus, is the One Absolute Being in which all relative beings live, move and have their being, the Whole that is ever greater than the sum of it's constituents, the center of which is everywhere and the circumference of which is nowhere, the All in One in All. Potential = Being Actual = Becoming Creative Process/Inquiry/Insight: 1. Immersion (mentation) 2. Saturation 3. Incubation 4. Fruition (metanoia) 5. Confirmation (mutation) 6. Implementation 7. Calibration Moses (Spiritualized Intellect), can only take us to the Promised Land, of a creative fill in the blank to ponder. Only Aaron (Intuition) can take us into it, to Revelation. The 3 Forces that enter every manifestation: 1. 1st Force = Aim - potential to be actualized. 2. 2nd Force = World - resistance 3. 3rd Force = Competence - neutralizing resistance by skillful means, thereby completing one's aim and actualizing the potential. The One all-encompassing Principle of nature is Pressure Mediation. The two phases of pressure mediation are di-electric centripetal convergence, and magnetic centrifugal divergence. The rhythm of Life is a movement and a rest. The optimum (Heaven, Pleasantness), is always found somewhere between the extremes of too much and too little (hell, unpleasantness). Each experience of each day is 'both' the fruit of yesterday's choices and the seed choices of tomorrow's experience. What we wake up from is the cultural death trance of a separate self. What we wake up to is conscious realization of the interrelated with all Life Self. We move from unconscious wholeness to conscious fragmentation to conscious wholeness. Because the potential for actualization is Infinite, the actualization of potential is Eternal.

@@wrdsmf We don't have any actual letters between Hall and Jung, although many times, Hall mentions that he loaned Jung some of his rare alchemy manuscripts when the Swiss psychiatrist wrote his book, "Psychology and Alchemy".
