you probably enjoyed transforming it because its either youre already tired of easy transformation or youre more matured now..i mean, the more complicated the transformation is, the longer youll gonna enjoy interacting with the figure..its also like a puzzle, the moment you "figured out" the proper or better way to do it, its gonna be like an acomplishment..for me, i dont consider it "playing the toy" its more like "enjoying the figure that you bought with lots of money" haha..

Ehhhh... The puzzle comparison does make sense, but truth be told I tend to prefer simple (or at least less complex) transformations. I dunno, I'm weird. ;P

Maybe it is the result/effort ratio? At least for me, as long as the transformation achieves a screen accurate vehicle and a screen accurate robot I don't really care how short/long the transformation is. I think this masterpiece movie Optimus Prime has a transformation that, while tedious, accomplishes so much for the robot mode. The transformation is complicated, but when you look at the big picture it really does what it needs to do: it moves the truck parts to thier proper spots and hides the rest. Anyways, I love this figure so much I might by a second one to keep in box (and not rub the paint off due to transformation) while ToysRUs has the 20% off sale still up... because I have problems XD.

I know the feeling. I decided to keep my Human Alliance Soundwave because I'd rather transform that figure than risk the paint on the silver 10th Anniversary Movie Soundwave. :P

Yeah, but that silver on that Soundwave looks so gorgeous! I wonder if Takara or Hasbro puts topcoats on their figures... would help with the paint chipping, or even better yet bring more colored plastic, like how all of the Master Grade Gundams are, so they don't have to paint an entire part just because the plastic is in the wrong color.

What's up robstein one. Yeah mine does the same thing. You know to be honest I think Hasbro and Takara tomys products now a days are going downhill real fast. The paint is absolutely garbage, especially the silver. They need to at least put a top coat for the silver pieces or make the pieces that are supposed to be chrome, chrome

I was never really into that way of thinking (that Hasbro/Takara are slipping, lazy, cheap, or whatever), and after some of the stuff that came out of Titans Return, Power of the Primes, Studio Series, and *especially* Siege I'm genuinely impressed with a lot of what they've been making.
