The m30 still sound great, overall more balanced. These m13 update some features and I think they are more comfortable, mics probably better, but still these are cheap buds, don't expect great mics.

If there's space perhaps add Ambient mode availability to the specs list. For the price, so many features tho: BT range, comfort, 7hr battery, Qi, all controls, IP rating, above average mics. Almost more than perfect, save for the mids & highs.

Hi Dave, i think you found a great option in the TrueAir 2's that you posted. Those mics stand up well to much more expensive buds and for the price, I think are excellent. It's just that you should keep your expectations reasonable - there aren't any earbuds who's mics are perfect, they all struggle somewhat with background noise, wind, etc. Hope you enjoy them!

Hey bud, the M12 are louder. These are blue (vs black), M13 case is noticeably smaller, shape is more comfortable and stable (opinion i suppose), battery is longer (by 2 hours), I think the mics are improved too. Sound-wise, M13 have more bass, but are overall warmer toned. Technically, these are not the successor to the M12's.

Mpow makes the best earbuds to me. I am 60 years old with dulled hearing from listening to my Sony Walkman on full volume in my teens. I was told my hearing would dull as I got older but I was enjoying the music too much to care. 😅 I have had Sennheiser, Sony, airpods, beats, Samsung, skull candy, anker, klipshe (sp), and so many others brands. There were a couple of brands named Senso and Soundpeats that were pretty good until they implemented the law about how high the volume would go to limit liability for hearing loss. (😊) I would order 10 diff brands at a time from Amazon trying to find one that was comfortable with great sound quality. One day an IT tech came into my office at work and was wearing the mpow. He told me they were the best for great sound and comfort. I immediately ordered them. I have 2 pair that I rotate between, giving each one time to charge. I still to this day wear earbuds all day until I go to bed. Mpow are great for phone calls and for listening to music. For the largest part of the day I am listening to music. They are comfortable. I actually have to check to see if I am wearing them sometimes. I am about to order the 12s and 13s to see the difference since they are pretty highly spoken of.

I don't wear these often enough for it be a good test. But 9 months, imo, is a long time for earbuds to last with regular wearings.

You could try, but the case is contoured specifically to the shape of the earbuds. It is unlikely to work with another manufacturers case

yes, but my recommendation is to pay a little more for the M30 or the M12. The M13 are my least favorite sounding MPow buds. you got to like the dark/warm sound to favor teh M13.
