Great bit of kit we use white and coloured solar power lights in and around the garden and a couple of solar powered lights in the rear shed . We. Also have solar powered coloured led lights hmm about 10 meters and have that strung along the ground /path out the back.. Great bits. Of kit you will love them we find the only hassle is when there is a bit of wind .. The dust and crap that gets blown around will continually set the light off but i feel it is worth the effort. +Randm so far I have found that this light is not too sensitive to small dogs or dust. Has to be a human or a car. Since the installation of this light I have moved it and installed a light that lasts longer.

Land to House look like very nice lights but I noticed future problem of that lights with snow. heavy wet snow will take that lights down and litom lights design for all of snow. even my gama solar lights have great design for snow.

+Jay Bernard III got it. We don't get much snow here. I just like that the light stays on for 45 seconds. Most others are off in 10 to 15.

Land to House I lived in major sun belt of colorado and my house have metal roof. snow slide off from the roof yet almost lost a camera this season.

+Jay Bernard III it would be sad to have all the lights knocked off at once. There are plenty of LEDs that have a nice slant on them.

I use mine on the dim/bright setting. This gives my pitch black pathway on the sides of my home max 14 hours of use before power is depleted but it doesn't because the sun recharges it.

Rather odd that control switch is inaccessible after installation..Why not have it at bottom of light casing, protected from weather ??

I agree! It's not even as if they are screws/fittings that you can put in place and then slide up and off... if you understand what I mean. You can't just lift the light off the screws to re-set you have to commit to a setting or undo all the screws to change them. Still, for the price, it still is a very decent light

would you say this light was bright enough to act as a security floodlight - light the area at the front of a house brightly enough to deter intruders?

The light is bright but it only stays on for 10 seconds. I actually like another light for this purpose: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nXLbmpZues6mfZY It will stay on for 40 seconds. Much better.

Please do you know how long it is able to be charged ? how long is gonna last the illumination after the charge ? over whole night ?

Since I have installed the light I have not had a time when it was not charged enough to turn on at night. I have had times of 4 or 5 days without direct sunlight and it still works.
