The House of Commons’ Liaison Committee is made up of the Chairs of all its select committees. It holds regular sessions, usually three times a year, when members question the Prime Minister about Government policy. The Liaison Committee is chaired by Sir Bernard Jenkin MP.
In this session, being held at 1pm on 19 December 2023, the Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak MP, is set to face questions on global affairs, economic issues, COP28 and energy concerns. Chairs from more than a dozen of the House of Commons’ select committees will take part in the session, which usually lasts around 90 minutes.
