I loaded the 93 Performance MPT tune yesterday on my boys 13 Performance Package 3.7 and I’m happy with the results. As expected, it woke the engine up nicely and you can tell a big difference in power, throttle response and the shift points on the auto trans. I played around with the track app at the end of my first trip picking up the car and I ran a couple of 0 to 60’s at 5.8 sec. I only ran one 0 to 60 after the tune and I got a 5.5 sec time. I did about an 1,800 rpm launch and I burned rubber for a good 15 feet so I think I could shave some time off of that with a little practice on the launch. This is the 3rd vehicle that I have tuned and without a doubt, the first mod that you should do to a vehicle that you wish you improve performance on is to tune it. It’s hands down the easiest and best dollars per gains that you can spend. Thumbs up for MPT.

Okay. So I was gonna wait til the weekend to load my MPT Tune. I couldn’t do it. Loaded it an hour ago. I love it so far. I haven’t felt it’s full potential yet, as I’m taking it easy for the first 30 miles, since I have a Automatic. But, what I’ve felt so far. Wow. Drive-ability is way more pleasant than Bam-meh. I like how MPT trans tunes Sport-Mode for the S550, unlike Bam-meh. Fords 2-3 gear shift at 3000 rpms, even when driving very mildly was VERY annoying. I’ll have a full review after I get more time with it. I have also been keeping Virtual Dyno graphs as I upgrade. So I’ll show those too.

Designa Edits, really digging this tune! I’ve heard others say it and it’s true.... it feels like my car was sleeping and is now awake! Especially in sport mode. I plan on supercharging within the next couple years. I’ll be using MPT. 🤘🏼 Bama is so sad compared to this tune. I had 3-4 revisions on my previous Bama Tune and the car just felt awkward to drive. Not with MPT.

Hey Matt, how are the downshifts. Bama’s trans tuning had my car feeling like fuel cut, when downshifting from 4-3. It made everyone in the car lurch forward. I had the remove trans tuning. I wanna go MPT. But I wanna make sure the downshifts aren’t the same. Great vid, BTW.

Atticaz I know exactly what you are talking about with bama, it seemed like if the car would miss a gear even though it's an automatic trans. I've never experienced this problem with mpt

Atticaz no problem, it completely blew passed me to mention this in the video but I remember with the bama tune sometimes when cruising 1-2gear the car would like miss the gear and almost stop. It would be pretty scary lol. It felt like if I were in a manual car and missed a gear.

Bama is better for price. The amount of mods i did and revisions that needed to be done to tunes, would have easily dropped over 1000 in tunes. Ill get a tune from the better greedier companies when i have everything i want on my car.
