Oh Pam! What a naughty little minx you are. Nice story with good actors. Elam has always been a favorite. Thank you.

I really enjoy seeing the old Nashs in these old programs. They were great old cars. They were what my dad drove back in the 50s.

The trunk seems to be unlocked. In another episode someone put a body there. How did the Nash lock?
@earlnut5 жыл бұрын
@@653j521 I know it's been awhile, but on a lot of the cars in those years they had a push button or knob you turned to open the trunk. The key just kept the knob from turning or the button from pushing in, otherwise you could pull the key and leave the trunk unlocked. My '41 Buick was like that.

Jack Shaindlin did the music direction for this show. His music can be found on his own library, Cinemusic. Archived recordings from the 40s-60s. It's on APM Music. One of the tracks playing is Verve which ending up on SpongeBob SquarePants in the episode "Plankton!" as the track plays on Plankton's record player.

There's a moral in here somewhere. It reminds me of an old morality play about 3 men who find a treasure. One guy leaves to buy provisions. The other two kill him on his return. They eat the food and die of poisoning.

Ross Elliott, John Douchett and old Jack Elam cowboy stars each of them, from the past., you just never know who's gonna show up next, on these. I was so shocked that under all those bandages was Jack Elam, at first you think it's some good looking tall dark and handsome. Then you find out its Elam, what a surprise that was, I about fell over. Should have recognised his voice. Dog gone it. !

Long reach across the box to knock out the guard who had a lot of time to get his gun ready when the top was up. I might have tried ducking behind the box and pushing it at him. Maybe the guard wasn't armed and would rather be hit than shot. Certainly they were mind-bogglingly incompetent. It was hard to get good help in those days. :)

K Kr Heck It's far worse getting good help now. People were at least half way dependable then , now forget it.

The two lovebirds are kidnapped, tied up, threatened with certain death. They witness a man shot to death, two blasted into kingdom come by a car bomb and another poisoned right in front of them. No sweat, these two are Mr. and Mrs. North; sociopaths who carry on to enjoy a weekend of fishing and fun after the mayhem.
@matthewkoch69374 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't say sociopaths, they're truly nice people with plenty of bravery in the face of peril. As proof, see the last scene of their capture; Jerry didn't have to offer to help the louse, but he did. The real question is, did they tell this whole disastrous tale to the police?
