Been a fan for 34yrs of michigan, went to my first game ever in the Big house. First row, endzone, student section, with my 14yr old son, what a life experience. I saw history 10yrs in the making! Beating ohio st, in the snow, 10yrs of depression the finally glory!!! I have my mr brightside video from that days game but now i play it in the bar i work at while the games go on!

Like I said, no offense, I have nothing against your fans, your campus, or stadium…I’ve never even been to the state of Michigan. As Notre Dame fans, we just don’t like the team, even though they aren’t even rivals. Honestly I think a lot of it goes years back to when both teams were neck and neck for best all time winning percentage. Since Michigan started playing football earlier than Notre Dame did, they had big leg up on them in the win department, so Notre Dame was always hoping that Michigan would lose so they would gain some ground in the winning percentage battle. It probably doesn’t really matter at this point because I believe both teams have been surpassed by Ohio State and Alabama. And technically Boise State too, but I don’t count them.
