Brooklyn and the Bronx are boroughs and basically their own cities because they used to be their own cities back in the day just like all of the other boroughs that are apart of NYC as a whole. It's just as they grew bigger and bigger and more crowded until they all grew bigger and all connected with each other. Because they just kept growing with no more room to expand and until they just grew until they all just blended together and into each other. So they just all became a part of just one giant mega city. But as boroughs they are still basically all considered as individual cities basically. And each one of them has hundreds and thousands of different and individual neighborhoods. So it is not the same comparison at all. South Park is an actual neighborhood. And a neighborhood just has hundreds and maybe thousands of people in them. A Borough in NY has millions of people. Comparing a neighborhood like South Park that has like just a hundred or so people to place like Brooklyn that has millions is a different story tbh.
