luke I had a pothos in my aquarium with my ranchus and I had a very similar situation happen to you. My goldfish started dying for seemingly no reason despite my best efforts and to that one person who hates you because you even mentioned that, they need to keep their mind open as you never know. I wonder if an autopsy would help if this ever happens again to anyone

LUKE THIS WILL SOLVE THE OVERFLOW PROBLEM! You need solenoids and float switches, you can get ones that will not be harmful to the fish, also there is no risk of electric shock to the fish because they are designed to be in water. We use the all the time at work, I’d literally offer to do it for you but I’m from UK

What you said about the fish community resinates with me massively. I’ve been a fish keeper for a couple of years now and kept a variety of fish. As a beginner encountering issues with fish keeping I used to always go to the internet to ask opinions and research. There’s so many differing opinions with each opinion acting as if it’s gospel it becomes massively overwhelming. One thing I’ve learnt is that there’s not one way to keep fish. There are many different methods that work for different people. Obviously there are some fast and hard rules like tank size for certain species and tank mates. But I feel like overall the fish community is one of the most toxic out there. I understand we’re all passionate and care for out fish friends. But there needs to be a change.

Hey! Sorry, I am not Luke, just wanting to point something out. While your idea is really sweet, I am not sure this is possible, because as far as I remember, Luke mentioned in one of his videos, that he still keeps the salt levels increased in Mr. Clean's tank, so that poor guy's kidneys will have it easier. I am not sure it's possible to move Mr. Clean from that salted tank to the freshwater tank with other goldfish. Would be cool to do it though if it's possible, I think company is important even for fish.

I always thought these fish need shallow water levels. Also awful lot of water changes in Asia fish are raised in ponds green water around 90 degrees no water changes, I thought greens were a staple food eg peas, spinach, algae 😯
