This is My Review of the Samsung Family Hub Family Hub 26.5-cu ft French Door Refrigerator with Ice Maker which I discuss things about the Refrigerator that are things that I have noticed that are from Minor to Annoying.

Any issues with not staying cold, ice building around the fan, etc?

No. None of those issues. I use the Ice maker. I don't keep it shut off at all. Since having My Samsung Family Hub 26.5-cu ft French Door Refrigerator I have not had Any issues with it Not keeping cold in either the fridge or freezer sections. One thing that I Would Recommend for Samsung to do is to Add More LED Lighting inside because when You have a lot of stuff in the upper shelves above, the lower shelves don't get much of the only light that's at the top center of the fridge.

I just bought this fridge and for some reason the door with the screen on my Friday’s won’t stay open like yours does. It slowly swings close and this bothers me

I have information that will fix that. Your Fridge is Not Level. Underneath there are the Feet that screw in and out in order to level the Fridge. It will probably take a bit of time but once done, the door should stay where You move the door to without moving on it's own after using the leveling screw feet under the fridge.

I see this fridge for $1,600 new but doesn't have the handles to pull open is it worth it ?

The Fridge is worth the cost. Just need to get the Handles though. Don't buy it without them unless one of two things. Either You Can get the Part Numbers and Purchase them and get a discount due to No handles or get a discount and deal with the fridge not having the handles. I would recommend the first option and not the second.

The Only Updates that have come to the Fridge since I've owned it were 1 Firmware Update, a few minor updates, Bixby Update, and 2 times there was a Terms of Service Update.

nice video. very easy to understand. do you know why my Hulu wont recognize my samsung hub? Internet working and i can even access my Hulu account, but it will not load main page for viewing.

Sorry but I don't know why Your Hulu won't Recognize Your Samsung Family Hub Refrigerator. I don't have Hulu for Me to check that out for You unfortunately.

Not having a light on the ice and water dispenser is a big annoyance for me. The food recognition software is worse than useless. The open door alarm has helped us a few times. I like the shopping list feature, but there are some definite issues with it. A lot they could improve on. I would like to be able to add or modify categories. It also puts in a lot of duplicate items. My wife added 2 cans of chick peas. We also had canned chick peas. Sorting and filtering options would be nice as you suggest. I like the morning brief feature. I have it synced to my calendar for work and it tells me what I have going on for the day. It won't let me link more than one calendar to the same user account though. That could be improved.

I didn't know about that clean screen mode. That's a good feature to know about. Thanks! Samsung really needs a video tour of the features that you can watch on the fridge. For example, the rapid ice setting. I know we go through ice faster than the it can make it when we don't have the rapid ice feature on, but it would be good to know what are the pros and cons of having rapid ice on. Does it use more energy? Is there a difference in the quality of ice? I suspect there are other features I'm not aware of too.

@@kurtrandall5281 Unfortunatly since then and even until the last update which was a few days ago, those issues are still there which is unfortunate. Hopefully with Videos like Mine and Customer Feedback and Customer Complaints and lastly, Customer Ideas submitted to Samsung might help to correct those issues at least with the Refrigerator and Software that I have. If they have fixed those issues on newer or different models then I can not speak upon that but Hopefully they have fixed All of the Issues that I have spoken about and any others that anyone else has spoken up about. I hope that this information was Helpful and insiteful to You.

Thank You. Hope that it was Informative enough although I had forgot to talk about another Issue. The Issue is the Time and Date Settingswhere periodically the Date shows up as the Next day even though I correct it and then a few days later it says the Next Day all over again after fixing it.

I wish you could mirror your phone screen onto the hub to use unsupported apps I have an iPhone and don’t use Spotify so its basically impossible for me to play ad free music in the background. There’s a way through the browser but then I have to keep the browser open. I understand it’s because apple is a competitor but it’s still a pain because I know they can easily integrate it

Other than that I love the fridge the speakers sound good (it sounded weird until I realized there was plastic on the speaker grill haha) the power cool and freeze settings are one of my favorites

That would havento be submitted to Samsung for them to consider for development for a possible future update. But as you had said, they would be a competitor and Samsung will not just add it for a select few people. If hundreds of thousands of people All are asking Samsung for that feature, then they might listen and do something. I wish you luck with that though.

actually l saw another video and you can mirror your phone to the fridge screen and use your phone apps.on the fridge screen. l believe it's called smart view on your samsung phone

There's Realistically Nowhere to put one as well IF there was, the batteries in the stick-on light would have to be changed.

Got the same model - it is making a motor noise. Just over a year old and the warranty is only a year, so it's not covered. It is a piece of junk.
