I got a job offer 6 months ago that was a huge opportunity for me in New York. I didn’t want to leave my hometown as I had everything I wanted there. This specific scene was the catalyst that made me leave and take on a new life. Thanks Mr. Feeny and BMW…you changed my life and helped me thrive beyond my wildest dreams ❤

Man i missed shows like this teaching lessons about every day life. They dont make shows like this anymore. Sad.
@yucol56612 ай бұрын
Nearly ALL the shows made today are like that. They just aren’t in your face or match your current personal taste as much, some are. Specially the sequel to Boy meet’s world. But when they are this preachy people complain and call it woke. There are even a new type of Kid’s shows made by political organizations like Praguer U or religious groups. Those are VERY “lesson” driven , even if you think their lessons are evil or woke or of God. It’s a form of lesson Modern Disney shows have lessons, modern Netflix shows, even Rick and Morty has lessons. Furry indie shows about hell have lessons. TikTok shows have lessons

This right here is HUGE... some of the realest sht ever heard. Also another thing to think about "Snakes will never grow much bigger then the enclosure they are raised in".. You can get yourself a Python which can grow up to 20ft.. Raise him in a 6 ft enclosure and he stops growing at 7 ft at full maturity.. While in the wild their relatives will continue growing.. Dont be afraid to get out there.. I know its hard to leave the only place you ever knew but if you don't then you will never grow. My advice to anybody looking to move out and buy their first home.. "Move out of your home town or out of state." If you don't want to leave your family far away then move into a town or city that is new to you.. but you can stay in the state so that you are still in reach

Back when TGIF aired shows like Full House and Step By Step; which I watched, I remember watching Boy Meets World s1. E1. Seeing this clip today I appreciate the humor but the grains of wisdom touch my soul
@jcolinmizia9161 Жыл бұрын
It feels like BMW never relied upon contrived drama. It had lessons, but never felt like an after-school special the way that Full House or Step-by-Step did. It nailed that sweet spot of feeling like you were just watching kids’ lives and the problems they faced. Having characters like Feeny, Alan, and Amy who actually seemed like real people rather than what teens would imagine adults are like, added a level of realism that worked very well for the show. Adults weren’t all knowing or authoritarians, kids weren’t always right or always misguided, and wisdom was always available for those willing to ask for it. It was truly a unique product of its time.

Sometimes you have to step outside your comfort zone to grow. Maybe its learning something new, maybe it's a new job, maybe it's a new place, maybe it's just meeting new faces, maybe it's reaching out to a familiar face. Whatever it is, don't let your comfort zone keep you growing. I've read many times where God used people when they stepped outside their comfort zone. You have Abraham, who left his previous land where is family was to be a Father of many. You have Noah, who built an Ark to save him, his family and two of every animal from a flood that was going to kill many. You have Moses, who was afraid to speak to Pharoah about letting God's people go from Egypt. You had Christ's Disciples, who left everything they had to follow him. Those are some of a few people who stepped outside their comfort zone. They feared, they were made fun of, they pushed around, tortured and killed but that didn't stop them because they trusted in God. Step outside your comfort zone and trust God in the process.

What a great metaphor. I’m 30 still live at home. Still not ready to leave cause I’m too comfortable but at the same time I am realizing I’m getting old now and I need to move out soon before I stop growing up and be in the same state at home not growing and thriving til I die.

Jorge Lugo there are a couple of things going on. The idea of a plant having a hard time leaving its original location (Topanga leaving home) to go out to the garden (the world) will always be tough hence the “hanging on by its roots” (not wanting to leave home). Sometimes we need the push or support to make this change and realize the possibilities within ourselves. In this case Mr. Feeny is saying that if Topanga just stays where she is, she won’t grow. Cory on the other hand thinks it’s their relationship that has stopped her when Mr. Feeny is suggesting that the bigger problem is that she doesn’t believe in herself enough that she will thrive somewhere else and thus has decided to stay home and not grow.

I always found it odd how here Feeney calls him Corry and Corry asks for me Mathews, but in the last episode it's reversed. Feeney says mr Mathews and Corry says " think we've known each other long annoff to call me Corry. These two episodes aren't far apart.
@playking6674 жыл бұрын
smilesforadoller needing comfort in what you know vs. feeling confident in your decision to move forward. Being called Mr. Matthews made Cory feel that he was going to be taught. When he made the decision to move on, he felt comfortable being addressed as Cory because he didn’t need to lesson.

Put your faith in Christ. That's all there is to it. He's already paid off your sin debt. All you need to do is accept His offer of forgiveness and grace. If you reject Him, then yes, you'll end up in hell.
