Thanks so much for making this model! I bought it and v2 already, and I've learned a lot from the way you put it together. I'm excited to employ some of the techniques you used for articulation on my own figures!

Hi can someone help me on how to start my career on this action figure making? What sort of courses and materials needed to start with this profession? Pls guide
@1godaboveALL3 жыл бұрын
Im just getting started myself. REALLY. Your gonna need about $600 and a computer of some sort apparently. That would help with rendering your own designs and what not I imagine. Im tryna find free downloads of figures like the one in this video. I found one so far for articulated male/female figures. This version is a LOT nicer and has nice solid articulation. Im about to buy a Creality something just because it's on sale and it's a BEAST according to all the reviews. That leaves me with just enough to get some PETG Filament, and a few accessories for the figures I want to print. If you still live at home, then GOOD! You can run up your Parents electric bill, because these 3D Printers need a constant power source. Other than that, skies the limit as they say. We've got a lot of catching up to do and a whole mess of learning, but it's GOOD! A lot of people already complained about stuff that needed to be made better, and a lot more people are into this so there are a lot of answers and folks in the community willing to help. If you read this far, Search up this video for some ideas to start your career. Take care, be SAFE! GOOD LUCK!!! Video is Titled: "how I made over $18,000 by selling 3D Prints on Etsy and 4 tips on how you can get started."

Amazing model! And I'm so happy it can be printed with a fdm machine! Despite the detail, I don't like how brittle the resin is. Something I'd like to ask, did you have to sand the print in order for the jointd to fit? And how small was the clearance when you were making the model?

Im trying to put together these Steven Universe future figures but no matter how much i sand it wont make the articulation smooth

is it possible with an FDM 3D printer? you know with the spools of filaments that melt and overlap layer by layer can I print it with PLA? will I have the same quality and flexibility as if I buy the body kun figurine?

this model is made by an FDM 3D printer Resolution: 0.1 mm Nozzle: 0.4 Need Supports Filament: PLA Infill: 40% Because of the difference in accuracy between 3d printers if the parts don't fit you can drill it or you can cut small parts of the plastic until it fit, it's almost have the same range of movement of the body kun figure

How do we scale all the parts in order to fit perfect??

Do you add glue? Honestly I can't understand why you would use so many small pieces when you could have just made whole sections without the need to mount bits. Take the chest for example, you could have avoided the frustration. I'm building this right now and can tell you it's really hard.
