Hey. Do you like prostitutes, friend? I totally love 'em. After all it's the oldest profession on Earth. Hookers have a lot in common with politicians, journalists and actors... All of whom can either be artists or poseurs, turning cheap, dirty tricks - or answering a true calling. It's easy to say that women who, voluntarily or not, got into this craziness are weak, stupid, and spineless sluts. But are they not just satisfying demand? We all know that without them some would go bonkers from loneliness, fear, frustration and all kinds of complexes. I say without a smidgeon of irony: Most of these women, who by whatever twist of fate, became professional satisfiers of pathetic male fantasies are far more decent and fair than their despicable clientele. I totally get guys who say sex with hookers is the purest, most honest kind of sex that anyone can ever have. While a free-of-charge quickie can cost so much more... leaving behind such a residue of shame and cynicism for all involved that no matter how hard you try to you can never wash it off.
And so I ask you - is there anything new that can be said about this storied topic of old? Not a goddamn thing. We can only shrug our shoulders. Or as we walk along the streets watching 13 and 14 year old girls hop into random cars we can be dumbfounded again and again from the sheer inconceivability of this scene. Or am I wrong?
Ouch! And what's this monument? It's to an unknown, um... It says it's for an unknown hooker?? What the...? Well... Why the hell not? For the boys who go missing in action in senseless wars they build entire parks as memorials. Isn't this also a battlefield? Isn't the world of prostitution one big slaughterhouse? Of course it's naive to think that fantasies about Prince Charming will soon stop turning the heads of girls dreaming of rom-com lives. Where a handsome man in a fancy car sweeps then off their feet and puts a ring right on their finger.
Let the prudes grind their perfect teeth to dust right now, cuz, baby, this bronze beauty IS going to stand somewhere along 5th Avenue, or the Champs-Élysées - some glorious main street of our cities. I command it! A giant woman in a provocatively short dress, rain or shine, an eyesore eternally waving horny men down. Forcing every passer-by to engage their brains and decide for themselves - what do they think of it.
- And what's this monument?
- It's in honor of the Noble Hooker.
- An actual prostitute monument? What for?
- What for? Because... they're good-looking, of course.

I think I figured it out. Anyone and everyone who works for the pleasure of others, in any sense, are either forgotten, or given some minor remembrance. "Some turn cheap dirty tricks, or answer a true calling." Saying that someone have an occupation perceived as unclean, uncouth, or immoral, while others have occupations that are deemed moral and worthy of praise. There is no monument for the retail worker that is mentally broken and only hanging on by the thin thread of "maybe something good will happen to get me out of here, to make life better." Because what would be the point? To look good? Or would it actually cause people to think about how they perceive others?

We allow politicians, celebrities and the so called "elite" to get away with unspeakable crimes while they fuck us everyday of our lives. Then they build monuments of their achievements for us worship. The hooker gets paid to be fucked. That makes us twice as stupid.

I believe this a good outlook. A little thought of mine is we monument the soldiers who gave their lives in a war with their brothers in arms. Truly remarkable what it takes. I also see that people who give their lives in other fields should be remarked as well. Like the people who work in factories or blue collar jobs weather it’s for selfish reasons or not it gets Done. These people are a more cruel subject when looked through the lense of age and how they give perhaps 30 years let’s say or more in that industry. And what if we took that away and all the teachers and the knowledge that is known leaving every human being to figure out how to simply put a home together if it was all stripped. I think that shows that yes we should perceive people better because they help the world reach greater heights. Gratitude, not demise

It’s not a mindf*ck because actors, politicians, and whatever the f*ck else he said doesn’t apply because those people make good money and many times enjoy what they do. Prostitutes come from broken homes were abused as children and feel forced into selling their body just to get enough food to live. They are miserable and despise their own profession often feeling used and the sex they give isn’t consensual because they’re only doing it to survive not cause they want to.

When I was a child I always thought prostitutes should be seen as far more valuable than they are as they were willing to give pleasure to anyone who needed it. That they were literally valuable enough to pay for. But then I saw society treating them as lessers and I knew something was deeply wrong with us on a fundamental level. I just couldn't put my finger on what that was... And somewhere along the line I've forgotten the innocence that gave me that insight in the first place.

@@ibrahimtarek7911 it's true ibrahim. i think others here either think 'prostitues are good or bad' from this video and so take a hardline stance. the issue is far more nuanced, and while those involved who are exploited and abused(which is mainly clientele but can also be the clients) need more support, the trade itself, the act, the profession regardless of who partakes in it....seems to be something tolerated and understood, but in need of disproval. A kind of doublethink needs to be enacted by society.

Bro I'm definitely too much into this rn, I was going to watch some of Mr. Freeman videos, just out of curiosity, and now I've been here for like an hour trying to understand this video an its meaning, the reason why it was written. I think I'm starting to get the message, I won't spoil it, but for what I understood it really is a masterpiece, even the smallest details, a fucking frame, have its meaning to be there but at the same time you don't need to get all of them, they all lead you to the same message. I could be wrong about everything but at least this video made me think a lot, in ways I never thought in my entire life. @@TeraaWrist but actually use your brain now, why is killing called evil? Doesn't every animal kill? And almost every animal can kill someone of their own specie just for a female, food or territory, why is the human different?
@boxingelfis1499
@boxingelfis1499 Жыл бұрын
@elcolito260 I think the difference is in the fact that we are aware. Unlike most animals, we don't have the luxury to just *take a life* and then say it is for "survival" or that it was just how things were always going to go if we came across each other. We are able to observe every moment of our choices as we attempt such a thing and realise that there are a plethora of ways this could go without either of us losing a life unnecessarily. Which is why when a human does eventually kill, they inevitably lose a part of themselves.

Think DEEPER why would he just be talking about how all works are considered in one way or another prostitution, why would he choose prostitution something looked down on in a specific way, as the thing to reference it with. Why is it that you are doing this “prostituion”how does that relate to the slaughter house analogy freeman’s videos are like puzzles you can piece them together you just need to think that is the main point of these videos to get us to THINK look towards the end of the video like most of mr freeman’s videos that’s where most of the answers lay in the open, the prostitute in that sense is the idea of living in a shitty situation because it will bring the American dream in the future, the idea that one day a man in shining armor will sweep them off their feet and put and a ring on their finger. It is not just for the idea of work alone but the entire system made to create prostitutes that “work”for the pimp while they view the pimp as prince charming himself, how we believe the man’s behind the curtain without second though and march to our death the cliff because of our own blind trust, even saying don’t panic and mocking those like us, those that see the edge and call it out or even shout, although “thanks for shouting”

I think there's 2 messages in here. The base level take is that although sex work is controversial its providing a good to society even though there are some negatives. But most importantly the people working in this industry should be valued and even held on a pedestal for their work, because at the end of the day they work a hard job and deserve respect. The other level is that this is all a metaphor for the working class. We get exploited and used while the ones using us get all the glory for our hard work and services. There's not much difference to selling your body for sex and selling your body for labour, either way its just capitalism having its way with us for others benefits. Instead of worshiping billionaire CEOs and politicians, we should have statues of the working class because we are the ones that not only deserve respect but should demand it.

You’d think I would’ve learned by now there’s no point in trying to be a good person… the world is just going to use and abuse you so what’s the point, why try…? Why can’t I make myself into a stronger person who doesn’t care about being nice… does that make me a sheep? I thought this sh*t was about being a good person but everything’s a goddamn lie. I guess it’s just taken me this long to realize that being nice and being a good person are not the same thing.

I'm just going to write a paragraph about what I think this is about, feel free to read : The core idea I found to this video is that people who take certain roles are here because of a demand, like a hooker wouldn't be here if there was no consumers a corrupt minister or journalist, or soldiers would not be here without bribers, or the threat of an outside force it's about seeing where the problem streams from originally. On a second plane, I think the video makes a point about the reason why this place needs to be filled. And it's because the darkness of the consequence of primal needs of the masses to be filled, will unleash chaos and anarchy, that's why things have arranged to let the politicians keep the charade and the status quo in a lot of countries so life could be at the right proportions of smooth sailing and hardships and the needs of the masses for democracy bred and created by education and modern society can be filled through a cynic mascarade that can be replaced at it's fall because few are the ones who truly believed in it. The system is here to make us think there is stability because it is the most safe and easy way to produce stability.
