Agreed. I just started watching, still need to catch up on season 1, but I'm looking forward to it, and this guy is why. I was kind of underwhelmed by the show and characters, nothing bad per say, just nothing managed to spark my interest. Then he showed up and I was instantly like drawn to him. So charismatic, yet has this sinister side, like you know he's up to something. He has this remarkable allure about him, a real joy to watch on screen. Great character, amazing actor, and one sexy dude.

We can't be sure how much Mr.Gold knows about their past lives,but he aparently knows more that anyone else(except Regina of course).Hope this helps:)
