The reason why Harold Shipman was able to get away with his murder for so long was because he was a doctor who used to treat elderly people, mostly women. So whenever he killed one of them, usually through a lethal injection, he’d write the death off as natural causes. He also would alter their Will where they’d leave him a huge swath of money. He got caught in 1998 when the undertaker noticed a link between the recent bodies coming to his mortuary as being elderly women and nearly all of them having Shipman as their personal doctor. We also don’t know for sure just how many he killed. Many of the families who had Shipman as their doctor are still trying to discover if their families really did die of natural causes or were killed by Shipman.
@XXXTENTAClON2272 жыл бұрын
He was actually caught due to altering someone’s will so dramatically that they left nothing for their kin, but instead everything for Shipman. Some people theorize that he wanted to be caught due to making it so obvious. Additionally, the only complaint there had ever been for Shipman was from a taxi driver, who had noticed that the elderly women he was driving to the hospital always coincidentally died and how it was always him as their doctor.

Onoprienko is really an uncanny one. Some facts about him: 1. Despite being born in Soviet Ukraine, he fled to Germany after committing his first murders. In Germany, he lived by stealing from supermarkets. He was beaten so severely in jail, that he pledged to kill 300 German citizens. 2. Maniacs like Chikatilo killed person by person. Onoprienko wiped out entire families. When he was later asked, why did he gave no mercy even to the children, he told that he wanted them not to stay orphans. 3. In court, Onoprienko said that he wanted to “paint a cross of human corpses on Ukraine’s body”.

Fun fact: theres another killer called Miyuki Ishikawa, she killed 103 babies when they were born and she got 4 YEARS in prison in 1948. She died on May 30th, 1987 at the age of 90. fun fact 2: Pedro Lopez confessed to over 350 killings, but only 110 are confirmed. He was released from an asylum in 1998 and his whereabouts are unknown. His crimes spanned from 1969-2002, meaning his killings spanned for 5 decades and 33 years. Fun fact 3: Javed Iqbal didnt kill over 100 or less than 100, he killed exactly 100. He killed that many people because that was his goal, and he promised he would stop there. He strangled kids, chopped them up into tiny bits, and dissolved the pieces into hydraulic acid as a way to conceal the evidence. he then dumped the remains into the local river. He told police he could have easily killed over 500 children, but promised not and confessed himself to the police on December 30th 1999. His crimes spanned from 1998-1999. Harold Shipman Birth: 14 January 1946 Death: 13 January 2004 (suicide and aged 57 almost 58) Span of crimes: 1975-1998 Victims: 15 convicted, possibly up to 250, mean number 218 Country: England Date apprehended: 7 September 1998 (life in prison) Louis Garavito Birth: 25 January 1957 (age 64, still alive!) (33 years) Victims: Convicted of 110, confessed to 350 Date apprehended: 9 March 1980 (first) Despite this guy still killing people even after he was released, he still killed people and he is still free today. Javed Iqbal Birth: 1956 in Lahore, Pakistan (exact date unknown) Died: 8 October 2001 (aged 45) Cause of death: Either died by suicide (hanging), or some guards who were disgusted by him killed him. Victims: 100 proved, 100 possible, 100 confessed, 100 suspected. the victims are just *exactly 100* , no debate. Span of crimes: 1998-1999 Date apprehended: 30 December 1999 (confessed to police) Mikhail Popkov (russian guy) Birth: 7 March 1964 (age 57) Victims: 78 convictions; 83+ confessed Span of crimes: 1992-2010 confirmed, 1992-2012 possible and suspected Date apprehended: June 23, 2012 Country: Russia This guy is probably the ugliest one in this list, no debating please. "Fun" facts: • Pedro López was released in 1998. His current (Feb 2022) whereabouts are unknown, but he is a suspect in at least one new murder from 2002. • Another of the most prolific known serial killers, Pedro Rodriguez Filho, who killed at least 71 people, was released in 2018. • Karla Homolka aided at least 3 torture-murders, including that of her own sister. She accepted a plea bargain where she would only be convicted of manslaughter; only afterwards was video footage discovered indicating she had not been coerced, but was a willing and active participant in the tortures and murders. She is not only free, she has been given a new identity by the Canadian government and reportedly has a husband and child. • A killer known as "The Doodler" killed at least 5 men between 1974 and 1975. Although a suspect was questioned, he was never brought to trial; he targeted men he met at gay bars, and his few surviving victims were afraid to out themselves by testifying. • Terry Rasmussen murdered at least 3 long-term romantic partners and his own daughter. This is unlike the vast majority of known serial killers, who target people they have little or no connection to, since they would likely be caught otherwise. Rasmussen managed to escape suspicion and start a new life at least twice. Only his last murder came to light before his death in 2010; his other crimes only started to be uncovered in 2013. Also, his daughter's mother has never been found or even identified, so she is likely another of his victims. • These are only some of the serial killers _that we know about._

Jeffrey was killed in prison by another prisoner. He was never executed, peace was chosen for him, but the prisoners didn’t exactly accept that.

He was also one of the most timid inmates. Apparently he had "found God" and was trying to be good. Whether or not he genuinely was or was just trying to get out to do more damage, who knows.

@@Spinogrl2000 he was not good at prison one of the reasons he got killed was because he was taunting the other inmates

My grandfather worked for john Wayne gacy at a construction site for some time. In fact, John Wayne Gacy would often invite him inside his house for “parties” which my grandfather would always make excuses to not go to (thank god he didnt). but the one time my grandfather did go to John Wayne Gacy‘s house to collect his paycheck, he told me the house smelled horrible and as john went to the other room to get his “paycheck” my grandpa got a feeling something was terribly wrong, like a sixth sense, and he just left without his paycheck while john was in the other room. Another story about john that he told me, was Where at work, John was showing my grandfather a photo album of “the hot women that went to his party” which was just different photos of him dressed up as women. He told my grandpa that “he should have been there” too.

It's true and later on when my grandpa became a firefighter, and John Wayne gacy was caught, he got a call from his captain telling him to not testify in court against John for whatever reason

218 victims is simply grotesque, must be a psychopath AND a sociopath, befriending people just enough to stick the knife in when least expected. Sadistic

I don't think I've witnessed myself consciously feeling myself transitioning from the state of calm to having a full on panic attack and this video made that happen

I've seen a few of these types of Mr. Incredible Becomes Uncanny videos, and it never ceases to intrigue me by how big the jump is between the sceond-to-last phase is to the last phase...

Imagine being in a operation room and then this guy 1:55 enter the room wihout knowing that he alredy killed more than 100 people...Then exit the Hospital and then years/months later hearing in the news that the same doctor that was with you in operation room is the most prolific serial killer in the history ...Terrifying... (Harold Shipman was a Doctor)

A Pedro López se le apodó Monstruo de los Andes, y a Luis Garavito se le apodó Monstruo de Génova o La Bestia. Ambos asesinos en serie son colombianos.

0:12 should have been Derrick Todd Lee. After all the mr incredible face used in this image is a police composite of him. And yes, it is extremely uncanny.
