I got the chance to meet Brock Purdy as a TCU student because I'm in the journalism department. In my opinion and the opinion of my roommates, Purdy made the game worthwhile. I'm glad I had the chance to meet the man himself. If he reaches the most significant stages and gets the job done, he comes down as the most impressive underdog story besides Tom Brady, of course. His rise to stardom is remarkable, especially given his humble beginnings and the relatively small school he attended. Brock Purdy is the real deal, he is playing like a old NFL vet out there. He is making the 49ers offence look dangerous for the first time in years. I know we always had offensive talent but Jimmy G always missed plays and when you needed a big play he would never get it done. The 49ers with Brock Purdy at quarterback are dangerous and with that defence I think they can be Super Bowl champions. 49ers needed a quarterback that can make plays and not just make the safe ones. Brock is finding open receivers downfield and when there in the red zone he is not taking sacks or not seeing the reads. No more field goals there touchdowns. Very impressive from a rookie drafted 262 and he keeps improving every game. 49ers can beat the Eagles, chiefs, Bills and Cowboys they are that good. I don’t see the 49ers losing.
