The sheer talent in this group was incredible. I am so lucky to have seen them perform live in Sheffield UK. As Jack Steadman created this side project after Bombay Bicycle Club’s longggg period apart! Finding out Bombay got back together shortly after this group was formed was like a childhood dream come true... and that’s because it was! I fell In love with BBC when I was a teenager so to hear that new music was coming with the knowledge that this musical masterpiece was in the catalogue was nothing short of a miracle to me.

Damn this song was awesome on the album, and all the other songs at the church were great, but this one just doesn’t do it justice. And I don’t mean because BJ the Chicago kid is missing neither because album version was more drastically eqed/mixed, but the trumpet and tenor (or alto not sure sorry if I’m wrong) seem kinda off at some places or aren’t quite getting the accents right at around 2:45, and the mesmirizing 4over3 rythm of the keys (i believe it’s a 4over3) that’s in the album version at 3:18 is replaced by something much simpler and takes out so much of the spirit of the song! Still would love to see Mr Jukes live with this incredible band!!
