For catching chips from the dust collector you could get an IBC and cut the top off. They are usually at least 275 gallon capacity, so it should last a little while.

Both are conifers. Red Cedar have cones that bear seeds, and are trees that can grow large…. As in the NW. junipers are Staley bark and grow more like a bush and have a berry seed as opposed to a cone. Here in Oregon we associate juniper as occurring in the high deserts of the west. It has a smell that definitely different than cedar. In Brookings Oregon the red cedar is extremely aerobatic, and highly sought after.

Always fun to watch you play with your big toys. A suggestion for your wood chips. Modify another of the big plastic boxes in the metal cage with a port on top for the dust and chips, and a top-hinged door to be able to dump them out where you need it (using Mr. Kato with forks).

Your chain bar seems to be pinched in the log you are cutting, occurs regularly. This happens to me frequently as well, a consequence of cutting too quickly, not using the wedges or Not using the loader to suspend the log up in the air. When this happens to a pro like yourself, I don't feel as self conscious about my own shortcut. 🇺🇸🗽💯🙈👌
