I had one of these...about 1963. I must have washed those cars 100 times and never got tired of playing with it. I wish I still had it.

I had one of these and played with it until it wore out. I literally cried when my mom threw it out. It wouldn't work anymore though.

There was no Mr Kelly Jr car wash toy. You might be referring to Ideals car wash toy. Smaller and manually controlled.
