"Mr. & Mrs. Smith" is a 2005 American action comedy film that tells the story of John and Jane Smith, a seemingly ordinary married couple who are actually secret assassins, unbeknownst to each other. On the surface, their marriage appears dull and filled with everyday squabbles, but it hides danger and excitement. It wasn't until an accidental mission made them each other's target that the couple began to suspect each other's true identities.
Through a series of chases and confrontations, their relationship is put to the test, and they also rediscover their love for each other. While attempting to kill each other, the couple also works to repair their seemingly breaking marriage. The film is filled with action scenes and humorous elements, showcasing an unusual love story, as well as mutual understanding and rekindled love between the husband and wife under extreme circumstances.
