Was this so hard... Was it???? To make it like this and not break our hearts... I mean i made it in program i had for past 10 years and they couldn't in theirs... Aghhhhhh... I knew it was gonna end like this, cuz it was ether someones death or this, but still common i mean look how in love he is with him and they couldn't adress it just a little bit just a hint there and there, i know Korea is very homophobic and it really hard to sell anything like that, but COME ON... Dont get me wrong i am happy everyone is alive and well, but lets not kid ourselfs with the fact that king fell in love with an actuall soo young it was all bong hwan and he took a bullet for a men who doesn't even know who he is... I mean.. I can't i need time... I know we cant get everything in kdramas, and this in period dramas where they all survive is a gift it self but still i get to be a little bitter cuz this show was everything to me and i needed just to have a little hint to leave me wondering with "WHAT IF" but i guess it was too much to ask... Im gonna go cry in my pillow now 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

same😭 The king's first love was the real Soyong but Bong Hwan mostly build and strengthen that love of King. I know it sounds rubbish but I really think that the King is in love with Bong Hwan's personality, he just didn't know that it was not Soyong soul. 😩 thankfully, the spin off relieve my heart. I'll just consider that the last ep of spin off is the actual ending💖

Because i feel pity for soyong too. Even bonghwan love cheoljong, but still he want his life in modern live. Not like other drama who main lead give up their life, and choose live with her/his lover. The fact, soyong love cheoljong and cheoljong actually interest to her, but he refuse because soyong is kim clan. If bonghwan with cheoljong in that time, how about soyong?? I’m just remembering that one scene a few episodes back where Sobong was acting like his “perfect queen” (the scene in the lake where they were talking about choosing the concubines) and the king was uncomfortable and said I prefer your original self (pertaining to Bong Hwan’s personality). And at another scene next to the lake when the king confessed his love to the queen because of all her flaws. But in the end he is totally ok with So Yong’s personality? I’m sorry, but it’s Bong Hwan that the King loves.

FRRR it baffles me how people gloss over these details and proceed on saying that the King was in love with So Yong, it was obvious in many parts that the King loved Bong Hwan, and Bong Hwan actually returned the feelings at the end, he accepted it- throughout the drama is clearly shows that he was questioning his sexual identity, because of the King-, even the King noticed that there was something missing at the very end, gosh- this was such an unjust ending for Bong Hwan and Cheoljong.

Omg...yes!!!! I've posted about that too. Like he was genuinely freaked out when she was acting all proper but is totally clueless and happy with So Yong's super demure personality? That's why so many fans are upset. The finale doesn't match the narrative. The only thing I could think of to rationalize all of this is that the writers laid down the foundation for this earlier with BI and HWJ. BI asks himself why he never noticed the difference when he knew SY better than she even knew herself. In the scene where CJ discovers HWJ's lie, he says that perhaps it's better not to confront a lie that no one wants revealed (loosely paraphrased). Then the actor KJH says that it's not BH or even SY's personality, looks, or soul that CJ loves but his perception of her...all of it leading me to believe that CJ subconsciously knows but isn't willing to confront the truth that the person he fell in love with is gone. He looks at SY and sees his queen and will rationalize any differences in order to maintain his happiness. I don't think he will be unhappy with SY. She adores him. However, I think a part of him will always feel the way he did when he looked at that dictionary...that something is missing.

The fact that the king felt that something was missing itself means that it was Bong Hwan he loved... It raises questions about what do you actually love, the body or the mind within.. and in that context was the queen a man or woman? Bong Hwan fell in love with him knowing Cheoljeong was a man... And Cheoljong, even though he was never certain does entertain a sense of loss...he feels in his heart that the person he loved is somehow missing. For me that immediately took it out of Bromance territory. I wish Cheoljong had been born again so that there would have been atleast a possibility of a meeting.... But I think that's still too early for traditional Kdramas. The fact that we even got something so borderline gender fluid is amazing in itself. Lets wait, maybe in the next couple of years Cheoljeong will show up in modern Korea.😉

Watch the spin off n you'll find a scene when Cheoljong actually was interested to Soyong before he knew she's a Kim. So I didn't think he loves Bong Hwan. Bong hwan was there to help Soyong to prove she sincerely wanted to be in Cheoljong's side, not Andong Kim's side. And he did a good job with that, cheoljong finally realize Soyong isn't his enemy.

I did watch the spin off. I still stand by what I wrote... He felt indebted to both So Young and Hwa Jin for saving him as a child. But he fell in love with what is essentially Bong Hwan's soul. That is why the drama is more thought provoking. Neither of then identify as Gay, but it is a fact that they fell in love with a person who identifies himself as a man.

It's not So young's soul, but her memories. And Bong Hwan clearly says that he enjoyed the physical intimacy. Yes he does it when he was drunk and thinks it was a girl... But when he says he enjoyed it he is super sober. It's because he too is caught up in gender roles. He can't accept the fact that he would fall for a guy because he identifies himself as straight. That is why he keeps feeling that he has to draw that line... But once it's done he realises how futile it is to ignore what he feels for Cheoljeong. It is Bong Hwan who takes a bullet for Cheoljong and Bong Hwan who smiles at Cheoljeong's cross eyed pic. It's just that a lot of people are too bothered by everything that is not a heterosexual relationship to see it for what it is. But I guess to each his own. Peace. ☺️

She would have died in “history” and that’ll be the end of that. All of the love and affection was built soley on BH back labor and identity crisis. SY inherited all of BH hard work. Yessss i was waiting for the drama to clear out that even if BH is not in SY's body that SY's personality is almost like BH's because CJ literally told SB he started to liked her because of her strange speaking (duh he even has the queen's dictionary) and strange ways. I mean this is the closest conclusion i can think of because i know for sure they wouldnt go the BL route (because korea). So at least make it that the real SY's personality is really like BH. I was also half expecting/hoping that they'd show CJ, SY, and the whole gang being reincarnated in the 21st century with BH leading happy lives in one way or another, even if they're just strangers, but was sad drama didnt do that. And also one thing i was kinda dissatisfied is the future didnt change much? I was expecting there'd be notable differences due to BH introducing 'futuristic inventions'. For example: food-wise (potato corn dog, mcdonalds burger, etc), beauty face masks, beauty serums, bullet-proof vests, food delivery, modern military tactics/training style, literally talking to the king about the future like the people's right to vote (although disguised as a story/vivid dream but still) Sadly the ending, although they tried to make it happy for everyone, was really not that good, because it didnt satisfy the questions they made you think during the drama's run. There are other dramas that are open-ended but still beautifully framed and sadly this ending is kinda mediocre. I was expecting more from the writers because they did great during all other episodes.

And I have a question, when in the last episode while the queen was going out of the palace to find the king she was caught by her cousin. She then told him that “the woman you love is dead” “Didn’t you notice all along?” Here my point is the king knew who so young was but he fell for her after Bong Hwan so conclusion is, it is Bong Hwan with whom Cheoljong fell in love and IT WAS THEIR STORY 😭😭 I wish I didn’t watch this series, it is killing me of frustration

In this scene I feel that the king realizes that there are differences in the personality of the queen. Even the queen's dictionary he made was useless. He also remembered that the queen (with Bong Hwan's soul) had said that he was a man who came from the future. Therefore, the king made a painting with a silly face because he remembered that at that time the queen was still possessed by Bong Hwan's soul. The purpose of the painting is to tell future bong hwan that the king has succeeded here. What makes me sad is that at that time the queen who was possessed by Bong Hwan's soul didn't laugh when the king tried to comfort her with a silly face. But when bong hwan has come back in the future, he laughs with teary eyes when he sees the expression of the king in the picture. Bong Hwan has worked hard and supported the king to win the battle. I was sad that they couldn't say goodbye properly. Even as Bong Hwan's soul returns to the future, he cries and wants to make sure that the king doesn't die.

It looks happy ending but actually it's a tragic ending. CJ misses bong hwan, and BH misses CJ too. They fell so hard, thru all sweet and bitter togetherness. That's how the love boundaries become strong and grow. It cant be just justified by 'first love on the first sight' between Soyong and CJ. Big No. At first, I still hoped there' s a moment where CJ and So yong found their thrue happiness as its look, but what Cj said in the ending scene was so breakable, shown that he really misses Sobong, not Soyong. So sad! 😭😭

However BH still with the sofa man now in the body of a woman felt that it was OK for him to surrender and so he crossed his own personal life which again flashback he was very disgusted with homosexuality. So if CJ Shows up in a guys body BH what lament the fact but because that is not to his male body taste. He loves CJ of course but he can let go completely if CJ was reincarnated as a woman. This series does not champion BL or straight relationship or even trans I feel. It’s just a story about loving just a person not about physical intimacy not about gender just the person.

Even with Choi Jin Hyuk (Bong Hwan) having less screen time, I fell in love with him more. I just finished watching Tunnel. I keep on repeating this scene :(( the hug between SY and CJ in the lake felt so empty, the King knows something is amiss. Prolly he realized later on that the “Mr Queen” he loved is not there anymore, hence, the Portait chosen to be put in the annals.

Cheoljong and Bonghwan developed feelings for one another because of their personality *not* because of beauty. In the spin-off there's indeed a love at first sight scenario. But I believe developed feelings could top love at first sight which is only a fleeting attraction. My point is, even if cheoljong didn't know bonghwan transmigrated in soyong's body, it can't be denied that cheoljong had fallen in love with bong hwan who controls soyong's body. Soyong had admitted she only hid within the body, the actions are bonghwan's alone.

@@soulexesns9522 when I say queens beauty I was trying to delicately say so not to offend, the King was attracted to a woman not a man. He didn’t know that a man was in the woman’s body. IMO the writing was bad /mediocre at best around this. There is all this debate based on the various views on few lines and that’s ok. All will see what they want to see and will take from it what they saw. I didn’t see a man attracted to another man knowingly. I did see an obnoxious man who was a womanizer transported in a woman’s body. He was loud and no way to not stop and take notice of the major change to what seemed to be a meek personality before. Some might say BH was there to learn to respect women, to be empathetic and to make the right choices. The writing was choppy and at some point they stopped writing and showing BH’s personality solely but focused more on the love story of the king and queen. IMO this is where the debate begins. As for SY saying she was just hidden in the body, for me that’s a stretch ..as we also know that BH had no recollection when they made love, why was that? I took that to mean SY was in control of the emotional side and attraction and sex with the king. Some of the funnier moments were around this and BH fighting the feelings and him getting SY was in control of this aspect. So.. it’s a no for me. BH and SY were both better for the experience as was the King. They all found confidence, grew and took a chance on change. Play back the last few lines BH says, not about love at all but growth and change and how you can change the world! BH made great choices in the end and went all in and sacrificed himself which he normally wouldn’t do, which ultimately changed his life when he went back for the good! He didn’t seem like he missed his love but more focused on was the king able to win and change the world. He seemed proud of his accomplishments.

So Yong got what she wanted, but the King knows something is missing in his life. I wonder if Bong Hwan is happy being back to modern world. He did so much to help the king. I want him to be happy. Viewers should have a scene where Bong Hwan expresses his inner thoughts on whether he is glad to be back, or that he prefers to stay with the king. It does feel like So Yong is taking all the credit right? But let's not forget she also has contributions of her own. As a woman in that era, she did what she could to help the king. As for Cheoljong, I hope he is happy too because we all know that he fell in love with Bong Hwan's soul, I bet he can tell the difference between the two but he just goes with whatever he has left. Though Bong Hwan doesn't stay in Joseon, everything just goes back to its original state, with a little twist in Korean history at the end. Like what Bong Hwan said, nothing really changes in the present time despite whatever happened in the past. The only two people that really changed, are Cheoljong and him.

Yeah, I have to accept this, but I wish they would have shown him acknowledging and mourning the loss more. He turned into such a dummy at the end. From what he said, they really played it like he doesn't know (yet). Also, his interactions with SY changed too. With SB, he was always sort of determined, in awe, or very passionate. With SY, he reverted to that sort of adolescent personality he displayed with HWJ in episode 2...even with the cheesy lines. I really don't get the ending. There were so many ways to make it better. More interactions and Bong-isms from the queen (it seemed like they deliberately minimized their interactions after the soul swap) or more SY throughout the drama. Like it just genuinely didn't make sense. Reminds me of the hot mess that was the finale of GOT.

Now it's soyong with a bit of bonghwan personality. she has developed her characters. Both King and Queen will cherish their moment together and I don't see any awkwardness in here

I agree that Soyong’s soul did exist in the earlier episodes of the drama, but she is completely gone and no longer exist after the scene in ep13. It is the scene where Bonghwan jump into the lake again to retrieve SY’s memories. Under the water BH met SY’s soul and after BH got all the memories from SY, SY’s soul just slowly sank to the bottom of the lake. This implied that SY has handed over everything of her to BH and that she can Rest In Peace finally. (Actually this kind of “handover and gone” plot exist in many many time travel novels I have read) In ep14, another scene further secured this saying. It is the scene where cheoljong confess his feeling to BH at the lake side. BH rejected CJ saying that SY no longer exist in the world anymore, she died in the night she jumped into the lake, they have no future because she can’t forgive him. While BH leaving, her inner voice said she is not the real SY so she can’t. To me, starting from this point, it is very clear that there is only one body one soul that carry on everything with CJ, and that soul is BH. Sorry but I just can’t persuade myself to accept the said that both souls co-exist in the body and SY control the emotional towards CJ throughout the whole story. If it is SY in control of the emotion, when knowing CJ awake from coma, she must have rushed to see CJ just like Hwajin instead of hesitated and get drunk. While CJ confessed to her, she must have said yes instead of saying she can’t forgive him. Why? Because SY no longer there by the time these two critical moments occurred. I just think the plot in ep13 that I mentioned above did mean something and shouldn’t be omitted either unintentionally or intentionally. This love story is between CJ and BH.

to be honest, i wished that bong hwan and soyong’s soul would just swap forever. i believe that cheol jong fell in love with bong hwan’s personality and it makes no sense to me how cheol jong still fell in love with soyong (or so they made look like they were). i have so many questions and the ending made me confused on whom he really loves. bong hwan once pointed out to byeong in that if “he really loved soyong then he would’ve noticed that something was different about her and that the person he loved was already gone.” and it conflicts me whether cheol jong just loved “soyong’s shell” and that any soul will do as long as it’s in soyong’s body. though it was emphasized that cheol jong felt like he lost something, he still didn’t know that the person inside soyong’s body has changed. soyong is a good person but i feel bitter at how bong hwan was with cheol jong through all the difficult times, yet soyong whom once abandoned her life, got to have bong hwan’s happy ending.

Yeah, they really dumbed him down at the end. Like he's genuinely confused looking at that dictionary and expects the queen to "surprise" him like she did before at the lake. Even the maids are just buying into it even though it's clear from their interactions that they went from being regarded as close family members back to servants again...doesn't even phase them or is remarked upon. Like SY is no better than HWJ when she took credit for the well. It's toxic. I don't think the king will ever truly confront it, but I think as time goes on, he will definitely know that she's not who he fell in love with. I think he does realized that it's not the queen he fell in love with ,its not like he can dunk SY in the lake to get BH back and there is also the baby to consider. The king is not dumb, he mentions that SY is more formal with him and he was sad when he looked at the Queen's dictionary. He figured it out over time, SY has no fire in her, no new words that would leave him stumped. SY will never confront him if she thinks he's wrong about something and I doubt she will ever set foot in the kitchen to cook anything. SY handwriting will also be completely different from BH. I think he finally believed BH about him being from the future. I think the portrait was his way to send a message to BH in the future. A special memory shared by them .

Even the way he says "did I loose something" shows real puzzlement...you can see from the way his eyes scrunch up in concentration.

I reviewed again the last episode and it really seems like the case. It will be more reasonable and coherent to put that last scene right after SY father’s visit. The sequence is to first wrap up the main leads and other characters’ life in ancient era, end up with CJ caress the queen’s dictionary felt like he lose something that his heart ached. Then everything back to modern era, and the script BH said at the end is much more like a closing script. I just think if this is the real edition, it will make me feel much better, at least it hinted that CJ first didn’t discover BH is gone, that’s why he seems like happy with SY and excited that SY might surprise him. From time to time he realize BH is gone, eventually left him a meaningful portrait.

I was really disappointed with the ending. They did Bong Hwan dirty. I think they purposely added the spin off so they can show that they fell in love at first sight and justify the ending. It was so unfair that Bong Hwan didn't even got to say goodbye to Court Lady Choi and Hong Yeon especially Cheoljeong and she didn't got credit for all she had done for them to win. It's like he got pulled into the future like nothing happened. And I hate how in spin off episodes they're still using BH as so yong when in the real ending they didn't even ended up with each other.

Thank you for this edit. This just saved my hurt, heartbroken and crushed soul. Mr. Queen was such an exceptional show. It repeatedly exceeded my expectations in every episode. The romance was so well developed. The characters were all complex and interesting. The humor was on point. And then, the finale, oh gosh it broke me. The ending was so disappointing, I couldn't even eat the food I ordered just for the occasion. I just stared at the screen during the later parts, trying to endure the events as they unfolded. The finale was not entirely bad. But I hated how they dealt with Cheoljong and So Yong's relationship. The ending kicked Bong Hwan out of the picture and made him see more like a side character, as if he wasn't one of the main driving forces of this show. First of all, let's get this straight. Cheoljong loved Bong Hwan, not So Yong. I saw a lot fo people here who try to justify that So Yong was still in Bong Hwan's body. But, the antics that made the King fall inlove wasn't So Yong's doing. The no-touching Law, defending him as his anti-fan, saving the banquet, teaching Cheoljong about the future, his improper mannerisms, his complete lack of self-control, and absolute arrogance. Those weren't So Yong. That was Bong Hwan. The King and Bong Hwan even bonded over the fact that he is from the future. Yes, there was a moment where So Yong's feelings was the one in control (like with the King in slow motion when he visited her). But, that's about it. Their interactions and chemistry were never based on So Yong's memories or feelings. But yet, the ending played this whole thing as a minor setback. Instead, they decided to just incorporate some aspects of Bong Hwan's character into her (which felt forced) for us to ship So Yong and Cheoljong more, without Bong Hwan. Why? Because it was those aspects of his that made the King fall in love. That's why I can never agree with the ending. The King loved the arrogant, selfish, and flawed Bong Hwan. That was literally his confession to So Yong. No offense to So Yong, but her taking all the glory in that felt so wrong. I want So Yong to be happy, but she has to face responsibility for her actions. She ran away from her responsibility, hid behind Bong Hwan, since she was too afraid to face her reality, and then gets all the love that the King had for a totally different person. And, I mean, how the frick is Cheoljong not seeing this? Even Byeong In recognizes the love of his life isn't the current So Yong and still distinguishes her existence with Bong Hwan. Because he FRICKING loves her. Yet, the King was just happy and accepting of this new woman he's with despite the fact that the person and aspects of So Yong that he fell in love with have gone. And yes, Bong Hwan definitely fell for Cheoljong. I mean, you can basically see if its Bong Hwan or So Yong controlling the body tbh. And in almost all their interactions, it's all Bong Hwan. Even before he got So Yong's memories, Bong Hwan became flustered with the King when he showed how he really wanted to understand him. Obviously, he couldn't accept it at first because he thought he was straight. But finally, in the finale, Bong Hwan accepts his feelings and makes the first move by kissing the King first before they fight. I think it served as last kiss before he left. Plus, their last side by side fight together, their last conversation together, about beating the boss in a game. Until the end, Bong Hwan still brings up modern day terms. And lastly, the pain and desperation in Bong Hwan to touch Cheoljong before he goes.... After he got back, he immediately worries about the King and rushes to discover his fate. He cries tears of longing and joy after remembering Cheoljong's attempts to make him laugh. But, alas, that was it, I guess. My heart ached, watching Bong Hwan tear up over Cheoljong. The first part of the finale raised my hopes so much but then the latter parts tore me to pieces. Meanwhile, Cheoljong seemingly just accepted his new queen, despite the fact that it scared him when So Bong acted all royal and proper back in Ep 10. Despite the fact that he said his queen was the improper, hot-headed, Bong Hwan in So Yong's body. Despite the fact that he said he was the one who knows Mr. Queen the most. Despite it all, I wondered if he realized or will ever realize the person with him isn't the one he fell for anymore. What I don't get is why did they build upon Bong Hwan and the King's relationship, instead of So Yong. The truth behind the well was only brought up once between the two. And tbh, it didn't really matter. Whoever saved him in the well wasn't the basis on who he loved. It hurts how kuch they develop Bong Hwan and the King's relationship yet settle for a heteronormative ending, The episode even showed glimpses of his longing, with him remarking on how something's missing as he caressed the Queen's dictionary he made to understand Mr. Queen. He also wondered why So Yong was so cordial with him, thinking she just planned to surprise him. Gosh, well what can I say? I guess, since Cheoljong easily changed his 2 year-love for Hwa Jin and fell in love with the eccentric Bong Hwan in just a week, maybe he'll just easily change those feelings and fall for So Yong. But what kind of person would that make the King? Seriously, I hoped they would end the show in a positive unexpected way. But, nope. It's just expectedly hetero, and rather incomplete, tying a lot of knots but failed to tie the most important one. Ship them all you want, but you can't deny, Cheoljong and So Yong have less chemistry. The show's ending words literally is Cheoljong wondering about the sudden change in So Yong, while she just laughed. Which makes this even more saddening for So Yong. The man she loves is still held up on a different person, not who she is. I can sense that sadness somehow in her laugh. Can you imagine what kind of life they'll have together in the long run? Cheoljong is gonna bring up their past moments and all So Yong can do is laugh and lie a way around it, cos it wasn't her who did all those things with Cheoljong. Remember the scene where Bong Hwan jump to the lake again to retrieve Soyong’s memories, he saw Soyong’s soul and after he got all the memories from her, her soul just sank to the bottom of the lake as if she has handed over everything of her to Bong Hwan and that she can Rest In Peace finally. I agree with a lot of what you said, but what I disagree with is that I don't think it's just about being heteronormative. I think it would have been more complicated than that if Cheol Jong finally sees Bong Hwan as a man, for ex, because he fell in love with Bong Hwan in a woman's body. Which would still have made for a more complicated "ending", so the chosen ending turned out to be the easier route than to deal with all that. Another, I think Cheol Jong realized eventually. Of course, he needed time to process what was happening. The Queen that he has come to loved so much suddenly changed to a very different personality. And hence, the portrait - a desperate message, an attempt at connection for the one he truly loved whom he finally believed had come from the future. And it's not like he can suddenly toss his queen aside. And perhaps Cheol Jong's last line at the lake, his sense of loss, his silly portrait - that's the best the writers can do in an attempt to stay true to the characters while bounded by restrictions. (But I personally think they could have done better. But the whole production went a "safe" route)

SoBong and his Jongie Jongie Cheoljongie deserved better...The fact that Byung In got a bigger farewell than BongHwan is just..BongHwan lost basically everyone he loved and Cheoljong lost the one he fell in love with. The one CJ had spent time together and has fallen in love, is Bong Hwan, not SoYong. When BH walked like the noble-lady, CJ still asked him to act as himself, that's his Queen. While BW bet everything in life for CJ despite knowing he’ll lose. They love each other to the point they don’t hesitate to risk their lives to protect the other. Ending by separating them is so mean. Personally, I want BI's soul to be with SY's soul instead. Since before BI died he mentioned that he knew SY more than herself. I think he meant SY actually loves him but she didn’t realize it, as when she’s about to go to the palace, she dreamed that the King looked like BI. It's like deep down she wants BI to be the one she has to marry with.

My ideal ending would be one where So Bong carry out their life with Cheol Jong and then when So Bong dies Bong Hwan enters his body again. That way he has the memories of his life with Cheol Jong but can still live out his own life too (and possibly even find Cheol Jong reincarnated?). Plus, the child So Young is carrying is also Bong Hwan’s. He helped create that child and the relationship progressed because he was in there too. My ideal ending , first the king is told but since queen was frist childhood love things are okay. We see the King and Queen sneak out again to mingle with the people in a neighboring city and come across a pack stall that serve the world greatest soup. The Disguise queen would be puzzled as she can actually dissect how the soup was made which should next exist just when the chef comes out eitu more soup, a pretty woman, who lamenting how she has “so many fans” which make the king perk up and turn to look at said woman with the queen. Then in true Mr Queen comedic fashion , soup maker woman BH , CJ and SY all make eye contact. The funny “Boon Hwangnaaa” song play reincarnated BH drop the tray of soup and runs for it. SY with new attitude jump over the table to chase “Her” and CJ after a couple of stun seconds chase also. The guards in secret freaks out and run after the king. Ending picture would have girl BH running with a head start follow bu SY yelling for BH by name to stop trail by just a but behind with him yelling “My Queens!” Yes “S” pural. And naturally the guard shouting “Your majesty!” Something like that.

Like sobong ever said, 'He (Cheoljong) would never find kind of girl (Sobong) in joseon era'. Since everyone especially noble act really polite, because they well educated. But So young kinda different from those feminine noble woman.

Choi Jin-hyuk & Shin Hye-sun are both great Actors. They were able to make us believe that they really love the King and that they're just 1 character. Some might not be satisfied with how it ends but we can't change the fact that this is one Amazing masterpiece indeed. 👏💯

I AM NOT HAPPY!!! I guess I expected it would come to this (both going back to their own bodies) but still, I am so heartbroken right now, the ending made me resent SoYong......So I choose my brain to believe episode 19 when the King & Queen reunited as my finale.❤ I would have accepted this finale had they shown more scenes of the King feeling anything other than dislike towards SoYong before I invested myself in Bong Hwan. Even the miniseries they say will come out to explain how the CJ & SoYong fell in love will not take away these feelings. Thank You Mr. Queen cast, it was a blast😚 #JusticeforBongHwang

ohmygod yES this is the ending we needed!!! like wth the fact that so yong had a happy ending when she didnt do nothing at all its pretty clear that cheol jong fell in love with bong hwan and the freakin ending?? like wtf was that?! what abt bong hwan? is he supposed to be okay with all of this? like he fell in love with the king and then suddenly he was thrown back to the future without having a chance to say gdbye?? i swear the king shld be reincarnated. and as a guy please. alright im done gdbye
