About Mr. Queen (철인왕후):
A male chef (Shin Hye Sun) has risen up the ranks to find a job cooking for the country’s top politicians in the South Korean presidential residences, the Blue House.
He is something of a dreamer - but one day finds himself in the body of a young queen from Korea’s past, Kim So Yong.
Kim So Yong’s husband is the reigning monarch, King Cheol Jong (Kim Jung Hyun). However, he is only king in name - the late King Sunjo’s Queen, Sun Won (Bae Jong Ok), has taken advantage of Cheol Jong’s better nature, and is ruling the realm in his name.
Queen Sun Won’s brother Kim Jwa Guen (Kim Tae Woo) also has designs on power.
However, Kim So Yong soon discovers that King Cheol Jong harbors secrets, and is not as gentle and meek as he seems…

My theory - Kim So Yong's soul never left her body. That's why she gained back all her memories. Her body had 2 souls. Bong-hwan's soul entered her body and was obviously, at first, the dominate one. But over time, she wasn't even thinking in Bong-hwan's voice anymore, but her own. Then more and more her memories returned going as far back as 8 years and the incident in the well. Things Bong-hwan could never have possible known about. That's why I dismiss the theory that Bong-hwan was falling for the king. Nope. Kim So Yong had both souls and were experiencing the same thing. After Bong-hwan's soul returned to present day Korea, Kim So Yong inherited some of Bong-hwans traits as shown how she changed and reacted to the palace and the traitors. And the best part... screaming out curse words that made her feel good. When you see the flashbacks how timid she was before the 'royal wedding' compared to the ending after Bong-hwan returned to his own body makes me believe this is what the 'writers' had in mind. I could be wrong but that's my theory and I'm sticking to it.

Bong hwan loves king because in last episode, when they get out of wagon, he choses to kiss the king. It was a conscious choice.

same thought. When Bonghwan returned he immediately went to look at the verifiable records of king cheoljong. He was happy crying and saying they did it, referring to the King and Queen. I also want to add that in the romantic scenes, it's Soyong's feelings towards the king that dominates the queen's body, and that's why Bonghwan's soul is confused because he didn't know

or betray him since at first bong hwan was supporting the kim side because they are the winning side. however, in real history, cheoljeong gain the full power when the queen dowager died and queen cheorin supported him on helping out people who suffered due to kims. they even had a child but died in six months.

I wanted Kim So Yong's soul to enter Bong-hwan's comatose body in 2021. I think it would've been awesome for Kim So Yong to wake in a man's body and go through what Bong-Hwan went through when he woke up in her body in 1850s. I mean, yeah, she'd totally freak out but I also think she'd be curious about what it's like to be a man. The hospital staff would write-off her weirdness as a product of brain damage (from the accident) but as Kim So Yong gets used to living Bong-Hwan's body, she'll finally learn what it's like to live for herself and be the person she's always wanted to be. Now, as far as her love life, I know she'd still harbor feelings for CheolJung but I think he's in the same timeline as her...searching for her, as either a man or woman; and honestly, I would love to see that.

And what would she learn by being inside a lecherous man's body with bounty on his head living in modern world? the answer is nothing. That is basically a dead end. The actual storyline of her coming back inside her own body and co-living with Bongwan's soul to learn to fight back was a better plotline

I think the queen's soul went away and appear in that scene because Bonghwan needed to see the memories of the body, that the queen has.

The soul is more likely resting on that lake,as she wanted to know the truth the soul of Kim So Young appeared unlike thefirst time when the motivation was to return to their bodies as the girl doesn't want that...She died that night and didn't want to return.
