If there was ever any question of the camera work in Mr. Robot. I submit S04E01 as an example, where in just the opening scene the camera work tells a narrative that isn't stated out loud. There are looks off camera, shifts in perspective, even the placement of actors all factors into having the actors know and react to something the audience doesn't see, until it is painfully too late. There, I think I handled that without significant spoilers.

S4 is fantastic, the budget noticably improved utilizes the iconic camera framing while using the new funds to make some great new shots as well.

2:34, I laughed so hard at that joke because even though I'm a big fan of the show, I always notice how they shoot the actors in the strangest ways in the show. Like Elliot's face could be in the bottom left corner of a shot. I thought it was genius they pointed that out.

I think that's one of my favorite things about the show. I'm a big fan of weird camera angles and cinematography in general so I really enjoy the show for doing it. I think it plays into the story because it forces you to see from a different perspective!
