We all say that we need Mr. Rogers more than ever. What better way to honor this true hero, than to be the Mr. Rogers in your neighborhood. Be the helper that he told us to look for. Be the spirit, and the voice of change. Love unconditionally.

If my parents had ever told me "it's you I like," I wonder how it would have changed my life. I went through the first five decades of my life feeling unlikable and often I tried to live up to that feeling by actually being unlikable. Now, I look in the mirror and say "it's you I like" just to see the smile emerge on my face. I AM likable and what a difference it makes in my life, and in the lives of others, to admit it. Thank God I figured it out before I die and thank God for Fred Rogers, my tv dad ❤🌈

I can relate. I'm 63 with a damaged self-esteem, thanks to my older brother, who recently admitted it to me. I don't know what or how he did it, and my parents didn't do anything to protect or prevent it. Mr Rogers knew that many of us weren't getting the deep down emotional support that healthy children need to grow up and become good citizens and neighbors. Tonight, I said those words "it's you I like" to myself, but not without tears.😢 I'm going to try to remember to say those words to myself every day because I need to. I hope it's not too late for me to experience loving myself the way a healthy person does. I really want to know what it feels like.👍

Life is about helping others to win, too! Even if we have to slow down, or even play down our own ambitions, desires and perhaps even our lives (Christ said it best. No greater love than to lay down one's life for a friend).

Sadly, KZbin changed its policy and they are now allowed to place ads on videos without the creator's permission. On top of that, I don't get a red cent for creating the work, it all goes to KZbin since my channel is not monetized.

"Deep down we know that what matters in this life is much more than winning for ourselves. What really matters is helping others win too, even if it means slowing down and changing our pace now and then." I love this video, the story about the wee boy who fell at the Seattle Olympics was sad, but it was also very beautiful. I love that they all went back for him. There is a really beautiful quote by Fred Rogers that I love. I first heard it a year ago when I was watching @ImonSnow react to Outlander 1x10. In her video she does a beautiful reading from a book called, "Life's Journeys According to Mister Rogers" "There are many times that I wish I had heard that just who you are at this moment with the way that you are feeling is fine. You don't have to be anything more than who you are right now. I'd like to think it's also something that's happened to me through the years. That I'm more able to accept myself as I happen to be, rather than as somebody thought I should be." For anyone that's reading this and doesn't know who @ImonSnow is, then I'll tell you a little bit about her. She does reaction videos to Movies and TV Shows, but her channel is so much more than that, it's her. She really cares about people and about what she does, she cares for the story, for the characters and the message the story is trying to tell us. At the end of her videos she shares her thoughts and takes the time to talk about things. I really love how much she feels for the characters, the way she connects to the story, the way she feels and experiences all of it. She's really beautiful, in every sense of the word.

Neurodivergent people often help each other out as they know the struggles of trying to fit into a world that forces them to pretend to be neurotypical. While hanging posters telling them to just be themselves. You are you so why do we still have to mask and help each other out because the neurotypicals are out in left field trying to label us as puzzles and problems. Not a problem to be solved.
