I really enjoyed your build Mr.Steel, when I was young I flew the dual prop 🚁 then I got a drone and it flew away on me, I Decided I wasn't going to fly anymore until one day I got the DJI AIR 3, to bring some cinematic content to my channel, I found I liked sport mode best and Decided FPV was the way to go, long story short TINYHAWK 3 stuck in a tree, broke my AIR 3 trying to get it down, 3 more quads coming in the mail 😅 not sure what my first build will be but I certainly like watching these tutorials to have a little preparation. Much love and Respect 🙏 from Australia 🇦🇺 I dig your style Brother 👌😊

just as a heads up, would recommend still using steel on the inner frame-arm screws. In a crash, the head of an aluminum screw there came clean off, leaving the body inside the pressnut. Unable to get it out, I had to replace the whole arm even though no carbon was broken.

Quick question, is there a built in osd now with the updated hardware? And whst about on-board audio? I mesn these questions for the analog build parts list in the description? I really like on-board audio and the osd from the og apex I have been flying I built it over covid from your og build video but the frame came with the osd board? So do I need to buy that same board and add it to the new build with the updated parts? Thank you in advance for anyone who can answer and much love to steele for these videos they do wonders for those newer builders like myself 💙💙💙 never not amazing watching a Mr steele build update video💙💙💙

Surely the flight characteristics are compromised somewhat as the deadcat design means that the length between motors is different to a normal frame even if the width is not and it is still a square?
@MrSteeleFPV2 жыл бұрын
You just shift the batter back a few cm and it sets up the CoG
@MrSteeleFPV2 жыл бұрын
Since the motors are symmetrical the on this “deadcat” if you shift the CoG back it flies super close to a standard X quad
