ntroducing the perfect storm analog camera for all of your fpv needs. This camera setup incorporates an extremely low latency CCD sensor paired with a GoPro style 2.5mm lens (Mr. Steele’s preferred combo)
The light weight “micro” 19mm sized case is easily adaptable to the widely used “mini” 22mm size such as the one used on the ImpulseRC Apex. This adaption is done using an ingenious yet simple silicone adhesive wrap that not only adds the extra millimeters you need for the 22mm case frames but also grips the sides of the carbon when tightened down, allowing for a snug fit. Thus negating the chance of a camera angle change during a crash.
We stick with CCD camera sensors for their quick response time and image reliability.

Looks quite a nice image. Wouldn't say it was as overly saturated as the others and not as good in low light but I think in the underground parking it excelled. As Mr Steel likes his buildings I see the appeal. The caddx Ratel is still a favourite. Also latency not as low as Ratel.

Thanks for the comparison. The caddx ratel and the ethix are very similar. On my ratel, I had the horizontal lines (as it can be seen in your test) : the power was supplied by the FC. When I changed the power supply to the rush-tank filtered one, all the lines disappeared. The ratel is thus well worth the money ( nearly 1/2 that of ethix)!

Ps: I find the pictures of the ratel / ethix really nice (although I do not like the effect of the sun on the ethix which will saturate the whole line of pixels - normal as it is a ccd cam).

I love my caddx ratel but seeing this makes me wanna switch to Runcam lol wow the saturation is nice compared to the others

Foxeer is cropping top and bottom. Caddy is less sharp. Runcam and Ethix are similar and if you tweet the saturation you could get them looking the same. I would still go with the RunCam over Foxeer and Caddx though without hesitation.

Each camera is connected to a DVR. I am testing the camera and not the VTX.

Personally I do like CCD cameras, however I think that everyone have their own personal preference so my "job" is to show you the videos and let you decide for yourself which one is better for you.

Hi, you can set the rapidFIRE to legacy mode and it should be ok. I don't remember if I had any specific issues with the Ethix Micro, sorry.

Falkor 2 Micro - 1.8mm Phoenix 2: 2.1mm Ratel: 1.66mm as far as I can remember.

Am I the only one the doesn't like this camera, i cant get on with the NTSC, i much prefer PAL. Mine also seems out of focus but that could just be NTSC.

I have two foxeer Falkors and they are both Blurry to be honest. Even tried a focus chart, it improved a little but nothing to blow my hair back. Look at the reflections on the floor in the vid compared to the Ethix or Runcams...

Also had few, It needs a lot of light, if not you get motion blur and ghosting. Indoor garage and even a dark cloudy day will not be pretty on the Falkor. But on a sunny day it's a great cam!

I don't know but this looks like pretty bad value especially looking at the price. Also this might be a little controversial but I don't think that Corona Virus ending is really necessairy, yes I know it's a big thing but we hear about it litterally everywhere so really you don't need to add that in. Ofcourse I do think we need to fight against Corona, 3 of my relatives are in Spain and have the virus, luckely all of them are stable for now.
