I tried for r1 and got really annoyed when it was immediately gone. Worse is that I didn’t want a WKL which I had an option to get and then I find out that they sent everyone in the early batches the opposite of what they ordered for WK or WKL. I should have tried for r2 because I wanted black but I didn’t have the heart at that point and had just gotten my Mode Sixtyfive. Not really interested in the r3 colors so I’ll just have to wait for another tkl to come along. Anyways great board and build. Very soothing viewing experience and happy to see more females or maybe I should say non males in the hobby and making vids. Earned a sub. Good job.

Firstly, thanks so much for the sub, taking the time to watch and leave your thoughts here - I really appreciate it! Secondly, I'm sorry to hear about the nightmare you had with the purchase process with this. It was very tight (both times) and I feel lucky for even getting one, but I completely understand your frustration. I was really looking forward to my first WKL with R1 and was disappointed with getting a WK, but it is a wonderful sounding and feeling board. There are a lot more awesome TKLs in your future though, I am certain of it. Anyway, thanks again for your kind and thoughtful comments and the sub. Hope to see you more around these parts!

will r3 only have purple and pink? I do know some colorways will be discontinued. but if its only does 2, then thats really disappointing, because the other colorways looked so much nicer 😭

Ya according to the Owlab discord, only purple and pink will be offered in R3 - they only do each color once unfortunately!

Owlabs have made the best sounding keyboards. Too bad they're in such low quantities that I will never get my hands on one lol. I'll go and buy myself a Keychron Q3 with a slot for a rotary encoder knob whenever that comes out, and stuff the thing with all the foams to hopefully achieve a similar sound. Maybe apply some Butyl sound deadener too.

🥲 lol will you try for R3 at all? The foams do a pretty good number on it, I did that with my Phantom65 before I got the Mr. Suit!

@@hi_keebs I'll try for sure. I just don't expect to actually get it lol. I think my greatest shot for getting it was during R1 when it wasn't as well known (I didn't know about it anyways), and even then it sold out in 5 min. At this point though, everyone knows about the Mr. Suit. I'm just gonna try clicking though the R3 options without even picking specific colors and etc in hopes that I'm lucky enough to get the board within the 1 minute that it's not sold out lol

@@amizan8653 statistically, I understand R3 will be the toughest to secure a board since the kerfuffle with R2 means the material slated for R3 was used for R2, but you never know - there could be a Xmas miracle!! I didn't think I would get R2 when I tried, it was just shit dumb luck! Anyway good luck with R3, I will be keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Ok I looked because the laser is like letters in blueish green but the novelty are orange but where's the pink line of letters like the thumbnail

Another gorgeous build! I've been binge-watching so many Mr. Suit videos ever since I completed my build. In fact, yours is definitely one of my favorites. GMK Synthwave with Turbo Novelties is PERFECT for the Chroma aspect of this keyboard. Keep up the good work! Also, for some reason, your keeb made me think of the KBDfans Aluminum Laser screw tray. Thinking of getting more iridescent accessories? 😂

@@hi_keebs I LOVE them. They are 63g, although I prefer a little more. The fact that the entire housing is made of nylon and the stem is slightly longer gives it a low-pitched, clacky, marbley sound. They are extremely similar to Zakus and like Epsilons, but with longer stems.
