This was the very first video I ever did. Its crude, there isn't any exciting uplifting music. Its just simple and plain, sort of like I am. I am sure over time I will get better at taking videos and editing them. But we all have to start somewhere. This is my start of my journey.

After watching dozens of your videos, I searched for your first one. I am sure you know, you have blessed so many of us even though you made your videos to document your life for family. WHEN you say, May God Bless you as you have blessed others, it makes me, and I am sure, many others grateful of how you have blessed so many others, and makes me strive to do the same! I am alot like you, living in the south, have my own Kitty Crew, like great recipes, and gardening. THANK YOU, Mr. Tom! You are such a welcoming part of my day every single day. ❤ thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart!

Boy, you must have some huge earthworms in your soil with all that leaf litter!! That fig tree is an indication of how your life has gone, it survived and so did you and you will still! You have come a long way, as I'm watching this video in Oct. 2020! The vines looked like they wanted to swallow you up, but they didn't win!! You conquered them, like you did a lot of things in your life! Now I can understand why the good Lord sent you that tiny little kitten Trixie! Something to show you how good life is from another view! Something to force you to get up every day, whether you want to or not!! You can ignore vines and bushes, but not that little creature!! And she's been reminding you for all these years! Good for you Mr. Tom, good for you! May the Lord keep you in His sight and bless you every day!

I was 17 when he passed away and I'm 47 yrs old now and I love learning from my elders and listening to stories from the days of old!! I just want to say thank you to you and all your children for your Service of each of you. Also to say thank you for sharing your stories and Life with us!! I had to start at the beginning!! First video and while your later videos have better quality, this is just as AWESOME as your newer uploads. Never saw oaks or pines that high in somebody's yard, then again the only oaks I've seen are some scrubby, small ones found along the Colorado River in se Utah, and up in Amealco(lots of microclimates here)which is cooler in summer and colder in winter than the surrounding subtropical areas(altitude above sea level also influences weather over here on the central plateau). Thank you Mr. Tom for sharing your first video with us all. :)

So glad you decided to be a part of the channel and spend time with me. As for where I went for all those years, well, it's a long story. To put it in a brief explanation is that life intervened. I have 3 grown children, all 3 joined and served in the military after their High School graduations. Now, I did not promote this, it was their decisions and I did not talk much if any about my service to my country. But they knew the family had a history of military service since the revolutionary war, as well as service to our country in many different ways. During their service two of them were severely injured, my oldest daughter and my son. Both of which would be from that time forward 100 % disabled. As their father I felt I had to step it up and make sure their lives and needs were taken care of. To do this , as always takes money and lots of it. So , I returned to full time work, but not the 40 hour weeks. I worked every day, every hour of every year that was possible. This meant working 6 to mostly 7 day weeks with extremely long hours. My average days were 13 to 14 hours a day. This left very little time to do things like youtube, for the time I was at home, I spent with them. Now, do I regret it, or blame anyone, no I do not. I was proud I as their Father ,that I could be blessed with the ability and the means to make their lives the best it could be. Now they are doing well, they will always have difficulties and issues in life. My Daughter is a fine mother and now very independent. My son moved out last year and now owns a small business and is doing great and expanding it now to another location. I am ever so proud of both of them, for their service to our country as well as their strength to strive and overcome the challenges that were placed before them. AS I am just as proud of my youngest daughter's service. If I could have a do over would I have done anything differently, well yes I might have. I often wonder if I had spoken to them of the great sacrifices, of the few, the horrors of War and the realities of it. They may of changed their minds to join. At the time I felt I should not influence their decisions in any way,so I remained silent. I still , when the night descends and all is quite, I wonder, if it could of been different. I will never know, but what I do know and can do is be there for them. Should they struggle, stumble or fall in life, Daddy will be there, to pick them up, brush them off and make it alright. Till once more they can make it on their own. I hope this answers your question, I rarely speak of this and most likely will never on video. But thank you for reminding me of the privilege I have been blessed with to be a Father. Thanks for watching, please take care, stay safe out there and God's Blessings to you and yours.
