It's lovely watching his reactions to the different stages - Nail clipping- no worries. Thorough brush & comb- mmm. Bathing sink - NOoooooo. Shampoo & massage - yes please. Bathtub, with duck - ok. Rinse off - I'll just lie down. Drying cabinet - 🐱 I think he does secretly enjoy most of this - he'd be far more determined to get away otherwise. They are so pretty strong cats❤️❤️❤️ Amazed how the drying cabinet doesn't bother him 🤣 Final groom - I'm beautiful again.

Doing none of that. Our cat has no psychological issues and grooms herself perfectly fine. You find her bitten / cut Nails lying around sometimes if you are lucky 😄 its a gift!

My two moggies would have near killed me as they saw the bath, I’ve tried I had to give up. Fortunately we found a groomer that he would tolerate "he only scratched me once". Our Somali was very fond of the same groomer; one of the sessions that started as usual with a claw trim "That's the only time a cat has EVER snuggled up to me while doing a claw trim.". "Well, he is unique". Miss them both terribly.

Cats do not need to be bathed! Not unless they have gotten very dirty with toxic stuff. 99% of the time it's only done for the vanity of the owner. Some learn to tolerate it, and a small number actually like it. But there is no good reason for it. Why torture the poor things when their instincts tell them they might drown?!

I just love this kitty! He's so handsome, even when he's got special soap all over him!
