I normally ziptie ziplock bags to them, this is a great idea though!

If you’re seriously worried about getting out every last hp try to use a non-air injection head in case the new engine has a air injected one

Kinda funny to see duct tape on an AN fitting, coming from an aviation mechanical background. instead of tape, you can use aviation safety wire (lockwire). just follow a manual to learn the proper way to install it and you'll be golden. Just ensuring that your AN fittings have provisional holes for the wire to thread and pigtail to.

My mechanics teacher was a former RCAF mechanic and he tried showing the class how to safety wire, safe to say most kids couldnt grasp it lmao. Even the other teacher who has 15-20 years on him struggles with the stuff some how

There is no hole. It was an ebay setup. Cheap stuff lol

@@loganamurray64 Yeah, not everyone is willing to grasp it right away, that assesment is fair, however that doesn't go without mentioning that anyone who is competent enough to get their head and hands around driving and modifying a vehicle successfully should be very much within the mechanical capabilities required to perform a task given to 18-20 year old kids in the enlisted military aviation training schools across the globe. I sucked at installing safety wire right out of AIT, but so did at least 80% of everyone else. But after less than a few months of doing it, you couldn't tell the difference between ours and our senior enlisted mentor's. If it were too hard, they would not let kids do it after all lol. All that said, it's life or death on a helicopter or airplane, but in a CAR?? The worst of safety wires could successfully function there.
