Impressive Logitech is supporting this as long as it has

I've been on Moonlight / Sunshine for over a year now, doubt I'll go back to sitting in front of the gaming PC ever again. Amazon Fire HD 10, and a rotation between the BSP-D8 and 8BitDo Ultimate 2C keep me more than happy. Tried the D8 Pro, but the design pinched the ribbon cable and was defective out of the box. Regardless, I'm convinced remote play when at home is still ideal, despite it's early state.

That's awesome, it's awesome to hear someone enjoying the setup so much, "don't knock it 'til you try it" is so fitting when I think of cloud/streaming gaming, it's so good!

Perfect with local remote play to xbox, pc, ps4/5... no need for a subscription. My favorite is it always has battery no matter when I pick it up.

I can't believe the G Cloud is two years old. It's now old enough to drink in Wisconsin. There's a lot to be said for doing something right the first time. I wish other handheld and cellphone companies would follow this model... The only concern I have is that Klef said the included SoC, the Snapdragon 720g, isn't very capable and games played on-device should be restricted to simple pixel games. On paper the SD720g should be on par with the Dimensity 700 or Dimensity 6100+. Those are rated at roughly between the SD835 and SD845 in benchmarks. In my own experience those Dimensity chips can run most of the Feral Interactive catalogue of PC ports in the Play Store quite well. Why can't the Snapdragon 720g do the same? Is there any way to modify it to perform the way the specs would indicate? Fun fact: both the Logitech G Cloud and the Abxylute streaming handheld have the same father, Lenovo. As the story goes, Lenovo Legion and Tencent were co developing a line of streaming/gaming Android handhelds. There would be a base model exclusively for streaming, and an uplevel model that was made for a mix of both streaming and native gaming. Both would have the same 7 inch panel and basic layout. Lenovo backed out at the 11th hour and, as a result, the design got shopped around. Abxylute picked up the base model and Logitech picked up the "Pro". Lenovo backed out so late in the process that there were hundreds of the Legion version made. Taki Udon bought one from a liquidator and reviewed it on his channel. He compared and contrasted the things that were kept and things that were changed. It was a fun video.

I remember watching that video from Taki! I do find this model to be interesting as well.

I dont care much about online cloud gaming but some months ago I broke my tailbone so I had to stay in bed. I played my pc games on my phone with a Gamesir G8+ using Sunshine/Moonlight. Very cool.

First! Btw how did your video have many audio track versions on it? It is the audio you hired by yourself or it is generated by KZbin Ai?
@GameTechTalk19 күн бұрын
Hey bud, I hope all is good with you! And yes, that's all KZbin AI, the feature just showed up one day to the next, I think they are "beta" rolling this to some creators but I don't know how or why I was one of them to get that pop up.
@Amrie4719 күн бұрын
@ Thanks! I hope you are doing well as well! I see that’s great to know you get the Ai feature, actually this features is really great for audience who’s not truely understanding English, So more people can watch your video with this KZbin Ai feature. In results you will gain more views and subscribers from it 👍

Are memo s3 (mobile version) and esysmx m15 the same controller?
@Gundemonium18 күн бұрын
yes, there are even more variants of that controller, but they are all the same except machenike one, i believe Klef made videos about all of them at this point

Thanks @Gundemonium for the assist. Indeed, that is correct, there is also a new "bluetooth" only variant, which I'll be revisiting hopefully some time in January to see if they fixed the issue I encountered.

gforce now is still the king for me, plus it has gamepass on there as well and you get to play the games at max settings vs with xcloud for example u run the series s verisons of the games...plus the cripsness and latency on gforce is unbeatable truly indistinguishable from native especially on a portable screen, but i do still use xcloud here and there as well since there are the occasionally game that's not on gforce and vice versa, heck got the ps portal as well since now it allows cloud streaming without needing the ps5 lol i just went full cloud this year, it really works that well nowdays
@GameTechTalk18 күн бұрын
Wow! You are definitely a forward-thinking gamer and to be honest, if I started from scratch today, I think I would approach it the same way as you. I used to have a grandfather account of Geforce NOW but when they started introducing the higher tier and wouldn't allow the monthly approach (they eventually addressed that), I decided to stop paying for it. I always have been a very big believer in cloud gaming and had a Stadia subscription during the entire time it existed.
@melxb18 күн бұрын
@GameTechTalk yeah i dabbled with cloud back when psnow existed and it wasn't as good as it is today so i continued sticking with console and pc and i think that is probably where a lot of the immediate dismissal of cloud gaming today still comes from gamers...i also tried stadia and it's probably when i started to believe man this is becoming more and more indistinguishable from native...but stadia was steep with partially needing you to buy games separately and the image not being quite there was maybe a bit too much to ask that of the masses is maybe part of why it failed especially when compared to say gforce where u can buy games for dirt cheap as u normally would on pc and u own the games can play them on cloud or hardware as u please is a plus and the fact if u own gamepass or other subscriptions like say ea or ubisoft then all those games are yours to play is solid (of course stadia did have some of that too though), library is key which stadia kind of lacked and idk what magic nvidia is using but man their image quality and feel is unbeatable...and it's also now much less cumbersome to sign in than it used to be, now when u sign in to your steam account once or your xbox account or epic account, it's always automatic with whatever following game you play onwards from those respective stores...i think those improvements sold me fully than ever before, plus i love the feel of handheld play the most so it works out great for me...playing cloud on a big screen though and perhaps needing 4k, there it probably can still be rough i assume with the seems of cloud still being more telling with needing really great internet, but i def recommend trying before knocking it, i mean if u got a phone and controller laying around, which who doesn't, it's so easy to try out and most times for free or for a cheap subscription fee like xcloud pay 10 15 bucks for gamepass and launch the free app on your phone and u are in, no need to spend 300-500 bucks on a console lol

G-Cloud vs PS Portal…hmmm 🤔
@GameTechTalk12 күн бұрын
The PS Portal is champ to play PS5 but the G-Cloud is the best for a "Cloud-gaming" lifestyle. It all comes down to what you aim to achieve with your cloud gaming.
@RemTilak19 күн бұрын
Cloud-gaming can be useful for some people, that's for sure. But in my opinion, a pure Cloud-gaming device like the Logitech G Cloud is a DoA device for me. I'd never buy that. There are better alternatives out there for the same money or a little more like the Steam Deck for example.
@GameTechTalk19 күн бұрын
Fair enough, I think to me, it's like that one video Russ from RetroGameCorps did a while back about having specific devices for specific consoles he liked emulating and the way I think of the G Cloud is kind of the same. I get your point though, and I hope my video helped understand that the G Cloud is a great tool, though not the only tool. Edit: Oh and btw, I hope you have amazing holidays Rem! Cheers and thanks for the continued support, much appreciated!
@melxb19 күн бұрын
yeah but one may prefer having something light and compact, especially when u can find it for sale for dirt cheap, with that said for me i just use my phone with a telescopic controller, especially since my phone already has a really great oled screen and i use gforce which lets me play at max vs needing to play on low mix settings with most new games on pc handhelds like the deck for example...to each their own though
