Yes we need a second permadeath trial of the sword here is why. First it is just sooo good and it makes my heart skip beats (in the good way) it is awesome. second it is risky and it could end the series, but at least you went down trying. Lastly it is just cool. I'm always surprised people ignore cutting down trees for firewood in TotS. They can be used for cooking rock-hard food, which while only replenishing 1/4 heart, can still come in handy in a pinch.

more trial of the sword, but maybe look into the ways to heal up with all resources - you can chop down all of the trees and make inedible food but it will give back a quarter of a heart, as well as things like not using all of the fish/mushrooms in a single dish and spreading them out

I think you should return to do the rest of the Trial of the Sword after you finish the story. That way you can keep the series going for a bit after you beat Ganon, but the later trials aren't as much risk because you've already completed the challenge. And then maybe after you finish the trials you can go back and beat Ganon again with the final Master Sword.
