If you get the upgraded version of stasis, it will allow you to freeze enemies, but it also allows them to be highlighted when it is active, so if your in a field of guardians, and don't know which one is alive, the rune will highlight the living enemies.

@@Croton How about a goron challenge next? The weapons allowed are as following, iron sledgehammer, cobble crusher, stone smasher, boulder breaker, drillshaft. The bows allowed a wooden bow only when a bow is required, and the bow of light for dark beast ganon. The shields allowed are a wooden shield only for divine beast vah naboris. The armor allowed is the flamebreaker boots, flame- breaker armor, flamebreaker helm, and forced mandatory armor, this could be an interesting challenge.

Some advice, When you chop guardian legs be sure to collect the drops from the legs before you kill it altogether. I found that it only renders ~10, and if you have too many parts on the screen, it'll occlude and unload the prior from game memory. I've lost out on maximizing my drops by not doing that prior. Same goes for multiple guardians simultaneously. I killed the two near tarrey town in Akkala before picking up the parts concurrently, and noticed some of my loot drop had magically disappeared :(

I always loved how the Ancient armor and gear looked, and when I obtained all of it from the lab I went around as a vigilante calling myself “The Guardian”. I would basically just assassinate large groups of enemies or lynels.

Yeah, I didn't either. Once I learned the blademasters, can one shot you no matter your health (only with their actual sword not the beam and only in the hideout) I figured you had to sneak through, but then I learned you can actually kill them if you can avoid getting hit and I didn't bother sneaking anymore I just abused shock and ice or very powerful weapons

There is another reason they could've been allowed. In other challenges, like the Gerudo one, there are no "Gerudo arrows" so Croton could use any type of arrow. So why can't he use any type of arrow this time?

It's a given that you can beat the game with only ancient gear. The question should be "how many times will I have to die acquiring the ancient gear? Once you have the complete ancient armor set, it's easy to grind guardians for parts to upgrade the armor, sell extras for rupees or buy more ancient equipment; and if you have fully upgraded ancient armor, all enemies are like the buzzing of flies.

Master Mode is more fun. Better loot, and it feels like it actually matters any time you pick a fight. Basically the higher the stakes, the higher the potential rewards. The more you have to improvise because not all fights are worth using weapons for. And the more aggressive you have to be since they will heal if you just play defensive all the time.

Guardian gear is the best ingame when looking at availability and damage output/block. It also gets a buff when wearing the ancient amour set, which makes it even stronger than most gear. The only question is how do you get started, because you have nothing and gotta kill nano guardians for the gear and then slowly leveling up.

Finally catching up on this. I gotta say using the Kirby Planet Robobot OST was a fantastic choice for background music. This run unlike most others goes from hard to easy. You start out very squishy, but then you get some of the best gear in the game. The weapons stand up to endgame power and durability

I've done a play through like this before. It starts really grindy until you get some weapons and eventually armor. The fact that you only have one type of bow (and it requires large cores to craft) was kind of a pain. I've considered doing it again

Ya know... they make such a deal about lightning in the desert but its one of the few places in the game you can never get struck by normal lightning. You would think weather would be perma lightning in parts of the region til the devil beast is dealt with.

You should do another challenge run. I’ll set the rules for you. This is… The Goron run! -goron weapons such as the: Stone smasher, boulder breaker and the drill shaft etc… -the flame breaker armer counts as “goron armor” - basic run rules apply as well. -only Daruks protection can be used. -complete all goron quests and mini games. -there’s no shields or bows that I know of so that should be fun :) -if you would like to make adjustments that cool to! This is just a suggestion you don’t have to do it! If you do the run I hope you have fun!

Impossible to do Rudania, ironically. You need a bow or a torch to carry the blue flame.

Actually it’s because he had beaten at least 1 divine beast. The amiibo drops scale from first shrine, after paraglided, and after first divine beast. Dive helms are only available after first divine beast. The scaling system is completely different as it is based on enemy kills.

Sonia Sun yeah, of the challenge runs ive done (shiekah, gerudo, zora, rito) Rito was the hardest, but also the most fun. Also I had to reset a million times because thunderblight kept breaking all my kite shields, of which there are 3 in the game and they dont respawn

@@thecatinthefedora1201 Wow. I’m surprised you even used the shield. I only got one going into the Thunderblight fight but I so scared of breaking it I just didn’t use it at all. I died a few times but I didn’t seem as bad as how you described it. The hardest part for me was Ganon actually. On the second phase I had to either parry his lasers or flurry rush. That was the one that made me reset a bunch of times. I’m kind of sad that the kite shields don’t respawn because they look really cool. But it was still fun nonetheless.
